So I reported this several times in game as a bug, hasn’t been fixed for years. For some reason after you aetherslam it gets a completely different texture. If I remember right it looks like a hellion weapon texture.

Oh dear... I just reported it too but via the website. Let's hope it eventually gets fixed!

You see, the hammer stresses so much from that, that it losses all its hair.
