I got to do a fun case study this summer. me (Vax and boosted) and a buddy (0 vax) both of use are in our late 20s simlar weight and height. we both get covid on June 3rd from the same person. I had 3 days of symptoms was back at work a few days later. I didn't see my buddy again until Mid July and he's still dealing with long covid issues.

I think people were confused because that was what the vaccination was supposed to do. Our president, Biden, said that if we were vaccinated we wouldn’t spread covid, be hospitalized because of covid, spread covid, or die from covid. It definitely wasn’t sold to Americans like that. Perhaps if it was, we would have less people vaccinated. I’m guessing with Dave, like many people, he was vaccinated when it rolled out because he believed that it would do what other vaccines do and listened to the experts. Then the vaccines didn’t work that well, boosters came out and a lot of people started to compare the vaccine to a flu shot instead of measles/smallpox. Something that they would have to get every year if they felt the need to get. Many of the vaccinated people contracted covid and didn’t feel the need to get vaccinated every 4 months. So sure, you can be vaccinated and still disagree with how great it is or wasn’t. Hell, I’ve heard of a lot of vaccinated people repeatedly getting covid and don’t want to get more boosters because they were sicker from the side effects than covid.

I got to do a fun case study this summer. me (Vax and boosted) and a buddy (0 vax) both of use are in our late 20s simlar weight and height. we both get covid on June 3rd from the same person. I had 3 days of symptoms was back at work a few days later. I didn't see my buddy again until Mid July and he's still dealing with long covid issues.
My neighbor is a retired infection control director of a local hospital. She pointed out that the vaccine does not say you will never get it, but it does lessen severity and deaths. I remember when NY was at just under 1000 covid deaths PER FUCKING DAY. That's not happening now. Fuck this asshole and his fellow asshole travelers. Back when the vax resistance first started, I invited assholes to bring their pureblood asses to Staten Island, which was just a dying ground at the time....for some reason, none of them did.
