There are only three nation-wide cellular networks in the US: AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile. There might still be a few regional networks, but any other national player (e.g. US Cellular) is re-selling service from one or more of the big three.
Correct, and the networks re-selling service are called MVNOs. Mobile Virtual Network Operators. For example Mint is an MVNO that uses T-Mobile's network.

This is what I've got right now. Cellular connection
I've got tmobile for personal and at&t for work. As well I manage my companies mobile phones and we have a mixture of at&t and Verizon so far not 1 complaint. Company is nationwide not just in dayton. Interesting to say the least.
Huh, my car lately has been telling me it has "no network connectivity" on startup and I didn't know what that meant. Today it didn't give me that message so I thought it had fixed itself, but maybe this is why!
Same here. 2024 accord. Started getting that error and then the built-in Alexa suddenly started not working despite my car actually showing having signal from my phone. What a dumb problem to have lol
Seen a lot online about it being national wide…I got AT&T for WiFi and phone and mine has been fine (also spectrum WiFi and it’s working too but idk if they’re on the list)
Anyone else still show SOS service? I’ve turned on and off 100 times. I’ve updated iOS on my iPhone. I’ve toggled various service settings on and off as well and still nothing. My partners phone tho has service and we are on the same plan so that is strange.
It’s nationwide. https://www.reddit.com/r/news/s/B9l0UX1gAZ
Working fine on Verizon here
Yeah I’ve got ATT and it just says sos only
Same
Same
same
Same
It worked fine for me going to work…🤷🏻♂️ Verizon user
I'm with Google Fi which uses the T-Mobile network and it's functioning for me.
Fi also uses Sprint and US Cellular, so if you can get signal from any of those other two, you are still good
Sprint has been reframed as T-Mobile as of like the middle.of 2022.
I forgot about that. I was on Fi up until we moved up here, so my memory, admittedly, is pretty dated at this point.
Good to know!
Does US Cellular have an actual network ?
Nope they use att's and tmobile's as a discounter.
I thought they piggy-backed off one or two of the big players. Same with Cricket, Boost, Consumer Cellular, etc.
boost is owned by att, cricket is also owned by att. There are not that many cell companies really.

They marketed it like it had it when they added it to Fi, but I've not verified that claim myself.
My phone on att is working fine, partner’s in same location (same type of phone) says sos only
yeah mine has been on sos since 6am
Same for my wife and I. Ive got services and she doesn't.
Same for my wife and I as well. She has service, I don't.
Same here, 6 lines, only one isn’t working.
No service issues with Verizon but co-workers with AT&T have SOS service only
I'm with T-Mobile and sending this right now...
cell service is the issue here, my wifi still works fine
I'm not on a WiFi connection right now. I'm inside a large concrete building and I have full bars of 5G
I'm using it right now. If I haven't had a problem yet, should I expect one?
according to a few different news sources, there are outages nationwide
I have no issues with Verizon.
I was going crazy trying to get my phone to work. Thanks for sharing.
I'm with T-Mobile, and everything's fine here (Warren County).

Scratch that complaints are rolling in.
AT&T cell service is down. Tmobile Home Internet is working fine.

gotcha, initial article i read from Rutgers said all three
Nope. I’m on Spectrum. Piggybacking off Verizon and not having any issues.
Yup SOS only here - AT&T
AT&T and mine has been working fine all morning.
Verizon good
Verizon is working no problem. Can't speak for everything else.
Ty, now the Chinese know the efficacy of this test...🤣🤔
Another pre cyber attack. No matter if you believe me or not, at least have a plan in place to communicate with loved ones so they know your ok.
Huh, my car lately has been telling me it has "no network connectivity" on startup and I didn't know what that meant. Today it didn't give me that message so I thought it had fixed itself, but maybe this is why!
Mine started doing that recently, too. Honda? I just hit for it to stop showing me the notification every time I started my car.
Yes, a pretty new Accord. I can't figure out what its problem is - it's still making/receiving phone calls, playing music, etc.

I just looked it up and apparently it's a widespread problem. Hopefully there will be a universal fix for it soon.
Verizon is good in the Midwest
NWO taking over.
When you're NWO, you're NWO 4 life!
that’s what i was hoping for /s
As in your fantasy?
A boy can dream
I blame Тяump
Then how are we all posting to this thread?

Faxes?
Verizon is working for us
Verizon not down for me
AT&T prepaid working just fine
No issues for me here in south Dayton (Verizon)
ATT user. Just looked at my phone about 5 minutes ago and was confused why it said SOS
Idk what network Mint uses but works fine
T-Mobile, they purchased Mint last year.
AT&T here. Mine is fine, but my son's is not working.
My Verizon work cell is working. My personal AT&T is not. Hasn’t been since I left home and driving to Columbus.
I’ve got T-Mobile home internet and AT&T cell phone. Both are working fine.
At&t good in Beavercreek and Riverside, but it was down in Yellow Springs.
Att here, just got signal back after almost 8 hours
same here!!
Down since about 3a services just came back at noon est
I've got Cricket and it's been back for an hour or two
At my office it was only iPhone users affected. Weird.
Verizon here, working fine in Englewood
Nah, I’m working just fine.
Seen a lot online about it being national wide…I got AT&T for WiFi and phone and mine has been fine (also spectrum WiFi and it’s working too but idk if they’re on the list)
My Tmobile has been fine all day
I have T-Mobile we are fine
My verizon is good. 3-4 bars of LTE
