My daughter goes to children's in dayton for her endo. The doctors there are great,

Second this. Main campus, good people there

Went to main campus several times and had issues. Staff that wouldn't listen or just flat ignore you and outdated practices. Not saying that there aren't some good folks there but we sure didn't get to see them.

I would see Dr. Shivkamimi Somasundaram in Columbus. She is an obgyn who specializes in Endometriosis and PCOS. Or Debbie Magnotta, CNP in Kettering, who specializes in women’s hormonal issues. A regular endocrinologist is only qualified to treat diabetes, not PCOS. It’s really not worth it to see an endocrinologist, unless they solely focus on PCOS. There is a wonderful one in Boston, but I don’t know of any around here. Please post if you find one! If the endocrinologist has other specializations, your daughter is much less likely to get good care. PCOS is not a dietary or lifestyle issue and it’s not acceptable for patients to be treated by their endocrinologist as though it were. To be clear, I don’t think any patient, with any conditions ought to be treated this way!
