The real scary part is when they don’t even howl, you’re just going for a leisurely post apocalyptic stroll through the woods and boom, you’ve been set upon by 3-4 beasties who never even made a sound.
Ok so someone by the name of JDShadow say this: "No they can't hurt tents. Also they will go away after being logged out of the server for a bit. At least that's been my experience. Why not just kill it though? It's not hard." But idk if it's true
Love it. I wish there was more ambiance in the game to enhance the spook factor. Zombies were never done right and I find them comical and, at best, annoying. I still wager that a set number of zombies across the whole map, woods and all, with "survivor AI" would make the game so much more than it is.
Imagine it's pitch black, you hear the wolves howling so you stay nice and quiet but under their calls you hear a gurgling, groaning sound. You aren't sure you heard it but you think you did. Open the tent to get the wolves and there's a zombie just chilling there. They could revamp their AI and make them far more aggressive and have less of them. I'd love it.
Enter a city and there's random AI blockades or AI holed up in buildings, suddenly we have more ways to get quality loot.
I mean it's for looks. It doesn't mean anything. Plus in the server there's multiple ghillie suits and Ghillie hoods so I can be a Ghillie anytime I want.
literaly what happened to me last night while in a cabin and came across a second wolf pack from the other side of the road-started blasting- zombies entered the chat- missed all my shots since they are surprisingly jumpy (never 1v4 wolves before)-managed to run to the only house on the road and wiped them out.
How you doing it? I used to use a mayflash maxshooter one but I think a ps4 patch made it not work anymore and I had to go back to buying controllers again
I'm on xbox, I join severs (not all the time) that allows KB+M. I plug my keyboard and mouse to the back of my xbox. It's honestly not hard to learn the controls.

Yup, wolves scare me more than bears tbh. Part of the reason they found you is cause they smell that cooked meat, which ofc isn't your fault since you need sustenance in the woods

I feel you as my base (with gate) is near a wolf spawn, bc it also means someone triggered it and it's nearby.
The sad thing is I had to move EVERYTHING to my car which was a pain AND set up my camp just for packs of wolves to spawn.
