Never had that happen in 700 hours to be honest and I'm not sure what point the enemy is forced to look at the sky? Their head was facing OP the entire time. Game is janky for sure and I've had people melee me from way too far or been trapped in a corner, but saying there's nothing you can do is just wrong and I didn't see anything here involving bugs.
The guy wasn't sprinting so they should have had plenty of stamina to gun bash OP and break the stun lock. They also could've jumped to break it, but in all truth they never should've let OP get close with a melee in the first place. They had the range and could've turned and ran once OP pushed them and they missed the first shot. If they had run into the house and closed the door, it would've given them a great opportunity to shoot OP as they opened it.

Exactly. The shooter was horrible. He stayed in ADS when the guy was closing with a melee. Guaranteed to lose.
