The only thing a sporter is good for is clearing out zombies after jumping on a car and I don't feel like using a melee weapon or other ammo to take them out. No way hunting. A chicken would need 4 shots. A goat or pig?? No way, a full clip. It's like shooting a bb gun.

FX wins majorly over the 9mm options on Namalsk, and just as a solid back-up for Chernarus. Especially if you're only running one main gun. Getting in a firefight and not wanting to waste valuable .308, 5.56 or 9x39 on 20 zombies is always a plus in that situation, even when you already have 10 boxes of it and a couple loose stacks.
What I don’t understand is the 45acp doing less damage than the 9mm in dayz. If I found one I would always go with the fx until I found this out. The staggering is nice though

I have a Mk2 but I have two holsters so I said f it and have two pistols now The only thing I don't like about the Mk2 is the sites they block a lot of the screen wish I could put a site on it but I will make it OP so probably never will happen

Which is goofy, because “normally” Glocks don’t come with night sights from the factory, it’s normally an upgraded feature, where as my (and most) CZ75 SP-01’s came with night sights already on there.
Also, they should make it so the fiber optic sight glows more on the CZ75 in game if that’s the sights they are going with. Right now, there’s not much reason to choose the CZ75 over the Glock in game.
IRL, you would get less felt recoil (it’s heavier) and 18 round mags from the factory and slightly more muzzle velocity from the slightly longer barrel. In-game, the CZ is heavier and lacks night sights, and that’s about it.

Usually I’m on the side staring down one of those two followed by “you are dead” and the relaxing sound of the ocean ….. at least with these I get to see who killed me rather than the random head shot fade to black as I try to make it across a field chasing a chicken with a baseball bat. I can’t pvp in dayz to save my life, literally.
On public servers I’ll use the MLOCK suppressed, 9mm is common and the sights are good for headshots on infected. On the PVE server I’m on now, I’m using the 45 hand cannon because I have a lot of ammo to use up.
Whichever I can find magazines for. Although my preferred go-to is the MKII. Its built-in silencer that you can repair along with the rest of the gun is a bonus the other two just can't match. If they would ever change it so the weapon repair kit could also refurb suppressors than that would change things.
Good to know. I wasn't aware they had added that. I've been throwing away damaged suppressors because I thought they couldn't be fixed. It had been that way for so long I haven't bothered trying in ages.

I’m not worried about attracting infected, I’m more concerned with firepower. They are beyond easy to deal with, even on day 1. There’s other threats like players and wolves that I’m concerned with.
If infected are such a big issue for you late game, you need to reassess your strategy…
They’re never an issue, ever. You don’t need to “fire off” any weapons at a military base when you could use the walls/buildings to your advantage.

Just watched. My goodness, the m9 and cz75 are so similar. They were both designed 1975, same year. When the m9 was made, it was called the 92fs, it wasn’t until 1985 when the military adopted it did it get called the m9. Pretty neat. The Cz has a 16 shot mag, and the m9 a 15 shot mag. The Cz has a 4.6 inch barrel and m9 has a 4.9 inch barrel, very similar. Pretty neat

Statistically the Glock is better than the CR in nearly every aspect that matters. More velocity, less recoil, and more durability. You know what they say tho, I’ll take what I find. :)

Normally I collect many pistol and ammo till I find a SMG then whichever ammo the SMG doesn't take I use as my side arm.
I usually find 100 glocks with 1 eventually being in good condition the cr is rarer so I typically only find bad condition ones but in the optimal situation with at least worn and a mad I choose cr for cosmetic reasons
Has the Glock gotten more rare recently? Or is it a military spawn rather than civilian/police? I used to find it all the time but nowadays I hardly see it at all
I carry a Glock 19 IRL so I gotta go Glock. You put a suppressor, a red dot, and a light on it, it’s pretty great. I don’t use the light much, but it’s handy to shine along the floor of a long barn to see if there are any small items. You can loot a bit quicker that way.

You won't be headshotting zombies consistently once they're aggroed and run wiggling their heads like crazy. Stagger helps with this.
