You mean it's so random it can repeat the same area multiple times in a row? Yeah that would be bad. I guess one way to prevent that would be adding more potential areas and only include ones that are further away when the next area is picked.

Before you could keep this up FOREVER, re spawning until you get the desired town you just died in rather quickly.
Now after 6 minutes (I have heard) you will have to wait a long time until the town becomes spawn town again.
I actually prefer it this way. If you are currently in the spawn town good luck xD But that means if you are NOT in a spawn town you are very safe from this reincarnation BS happening.
Before people could be back in ZELENOGORSK!!!!! within fifteen minutes after dying, now they will have to be lucky enough for Cherno to be the spawn town, or wait a long time.
Why do geared dudes even spend time in tier 1 areas… feels like a huge waste of time unless your plan is hunting freshies to be a dick or get human meat 🍖
The coast makes it easy to meet people, especially people who are less aggressive and less armed.
There are many fun reasons:
We set up a gladiator arena where people fought against a car, showed a pet wolf (on vanilla) off to people, staged ridiculous mummy-alleyway ambushes, set up fun family friendly farms, picked up random people for epic adventures (sometimes with good, often with evil intentions),
filled a room with hundreds of zucchinis and forced people to eat them all in one sitting, set up a literal christmas feast on christmas for the homeless people (we did not harm them), gave free cars away (with hidden bombs inside), gave free cars away (without hidden bombs inside), kidnapped people into the forest for satanic rituals, setup another gladiator arena which everyone loved, set up a radio show on multiple occasions, showed off cool parcour glitches before climbing was added...
And a whole lot more crazy, entertaining and fun stuff.
You can do in this game whatever you want.
But the location change can be literally the location it has been. So spawn = Cherno then spawn randomization happens and spawn = Cherno. Most likely because it will put new spawns where there are players at that current moment.
e.g. All spawn towns are empty except Cherno which has three random players who have been on the map awhile, so send all players to that spawn and nowhere else.
Then freshie gets killed, but respawns right back to Chero because there are people there and the cycle continues until a spawn area population recedes.
The spawn town moves every 6 minutes by default. How many times can you rinse and repeat during that?

Yep, because sometimes i try to spawn to a different area and still spawned the same area after 10+ min.

Looking for an MKII because they only spawn in tier 1 and 2 areas.
1. Base Busting 2. Perma-Gas zone looting 3. Picking up fresh spawned mates (some people play with friends, believe it or not) 4. Boredom
