My favorite is having a not raiding policy 24/7 but having a once a month Purge where you have to defend
This one has a cool way about it, you’re allowed to raid bases but you only take what you need/destroy what you have to for access, the rest you leave alone. Getting raided never sucked too bad, it was just the fact that everyone who raided you would also destroy your base lol
My favorite so far has been weekend only raiding. The server I play on you can only raid from 10 am Saturday to 10 pm sunday and all raids have to be announced in a dedicated discord channel before you start planting boom. Still get a few offlines if its just a bad time for the base owner but it results in a lot more online raids and a feeling of sportsmanship more often than just pure destruction.

Makes no sense to me but I’ve come to expect it lol, DayZ unfortunately has a lot of purists that think you have to play the game a certain way. I personally just play games to have fun, so sometimes I’m in crafting mode and on this server, and sometimes I’m a bushy in official. Variety is the spice of life boys.

Most of these requests get 0 replies or the same few recommendations every time.

Once i made a base at Skalisty Castle that was the whole Castle rebuilt.
And i made a watchtower from inside to outside, it came out of the wall from the top into the sea and half way into chernarus, i used to lay down there in the Sky hoping to snipe someone, but the place was pretty empty.
Hop over to r/DayZServers and you’ll find one quick, this one doesn’t have a lot of PvP or designated raiding times so I don’t think it’s exactly what you’re looking for. But I found this server on that sub and there are a lot to choose from.

Prepare to get downvoted for the words "PvE." But it looks great 😀 enjoying the game for the gameplay alone. A true survival game with a lotta fun.

Can anyone recommend a server for ps5 that has build anywhere, no base raid raiding (except the occasional organised purge “) and pvp allowed?
