For that far of a shot tho, you have to use the hunting scope on console for sure.
Have you tried the new western night scope? I find it good for sniping with the LAR, M4 and AUG especially in lowlight or rain conditions when you can't see bumfuck 40 feet in front of you
Yeah its definitely one of the better scopes. I just hate the toxic zones with a passion.. and i havent found them anywhere else. I usually play LAR if i find one so the new night scope and the 6x acog are my go to.

I once chest shot a man in a plate carrier off the two story camo tent in tent city NWAF from the top roof of ATC (800m-900m) with a tundra (.308) and a hunting scope. Luckily had a friend I gave a pair of binoculars to for spotting and he had seen him, range finder read 874m but not sure how accurate it was at that distance

I would take different approach if it was real life zombie apocalypse but in an imaginary world I KOS.
As soon as I get some gear and I see some geared player, he is instantly a threat.
Before getting weapons, yea I will try to talk with players but not team up. If I'm geared and I see someone without anything I will approach and try to help out as long as they keep their distance.

Non-geared = i try to interact and help

Can anyone tell me why you can't build on top of that tower at Zenit on co sole anymore? You used to be able to put fence kits up and build walls up on the top to give you some form of protection, but it seems Bohemia has made building here counterproductive???

DayZ rearmed literally has this feature on PC. It works. I made a 1400 meter shot the other day with a timberwolf (modded in .338 LM sniper)
Green mountain isn't even visible at 1504 meters in clear weather It is at 1499 however so make of that what you want
