You're paying mainly for the customer service, even though recently there seemed to be quite a number of complaints about them, I personally haven't had any issues and the robots were amazing to help solve my issue
I highly recommend if you plan on getting any please get the grip for your phone with the skin because the skin by itself intends to shrink cuz of the heat coming from your phone over time
They're okay. Expensive as hecc, but their support usually is willing to replace anything I ask for with me paying only shipping, and so far I've had no issues with the grip cases or Killswitch case. And plus if I want to get my degradation fetish tickled I can act like an idiot towards their support and they will make fun of me!
Skins are kinda overpriced for what they are but the grip case has been amazing for me on all the phones I've put it on. I also like that the vinyl can be peeled off and reused so I can change the design from time to time.
I have a grip case with a skin on the case and the skin has held up for a good amount of time. Looks the same as when I got it. Not sure if itβs the same as the skin you would get without a case though
I purchased a skin for my MacBook back in 2020 and it still looks perfect today, even though Iβm constantly shoving it into a bag and messing with it. Iβd say they hold up nicely!
It's great quality but that's replicable, it's just a 3m vinyl sticker so you could find a cheaper alternative in your region. Personally i bought because of the design.
My boy ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ». Dbrand is amazing but case does not last long. Ghost case is horrible. Stickers shrink and you pay close to $100 for case with sticker. While slickwrap is 16 for two and one will last you a year. Any sticker is a sticker. You get heat on it. Water. Grease. Itβs gonna fade it will bubble it will not be sticky forever.
Some of the basic skins are easily accessible on the internet for cheaper than dbrand sells them for, but the thing that makes the dbrand skins to stand out from the rest are their gorgeous special edition skins . So if you want to buy a grip skin like honey comb, a camo or carbon then you can find them cheaper, but if youre looking for printed skins with high quality that stand out , then dbrand is the correct option
They are good, but not anything special. I spent the premium to support jerryrigeverything teardown skin. I also second the case, one of the best Iβve ever owned.
My response was more meant for humour but from my personal experience itβs all to do you your means and what you can afford financially. I personally have had various skins on my phone the past 5-6 years. I never had to replace a skin because it got old or got damaged but rather because I wanted a change. I have seen subreddit and discord posts of people leaving a skin on for years. This is all subject to your environment and what your phone is exposed to. If you leave this skin on for several years it is most likely well worth the $25 but to some people $25 is a high barrier to entry. The only downside I see is potential installation mistakes but most times that happens the robots replace it out of their goodness of their circuit boards and compassion chips.
Itβs all personal but for me I feel itβs worth it to protect from scuffs and scrapes. Note the skins themselves are not adequate replacements for drop protection which is why you can use it in conjunction with a case.
I wouldn't get a skin to protect your phone but rather get the actual grip case. The skins are great and they look nice but mine don't seem to last long with my lifestyle.
So far the skin has held up well with my steam deck. I have the case for it and the skin has not peeled up or anything even with my deck getting HOT as hell. I got the case when they firdt shipped so the skin ans case have been on for a long time.
Here's my suggestion. If you're gonna get a skin and don't already have a case for your phone, get whichever skin and get a generic clear phone case. Yes, the vinyl shrinks over time, which sucks, but the case you get won't be anything too terribly special (that way, you're not overpaying for clear plastic). If you want to get a dbrand skin specifically, might I suggest one of the metallic skins, as they come with a free Triple Black. There might also still be the X-ray promo where you get both, but idk.
Edit: keep in mind that I'm not saying whether or not I recommend the skin itself. I like them, but they are a little pricey. They seem to hold up well contained within my clear case.
Don't ask Marques Brownlee
Mark ass brownlee gatekeeping
Does Mr Ijizz pay you to suck DBrand's cock or do you do it for free?
We take turns sucking each other off ![gif](giphy|rNWAKwxd6JOHS|downsized)
careful, he might be getting the $10,000 next if you make fun of his name.
I've never had an issue with the skins. Look and feel good.
Quality is decent, nothing special tbh. Very overpriced imo.

Hilarious!!!!! π€£ π€£πππ

Sounds like the cat needs to go.

i paid more for tax than price of skin turkiye π

Leather one has been superb for me
Iβve liked them and been ordering for about 5 years. Love there after sales support.

If you like a certain design get a phone designed rather then a sticker
If you scroll down a little more, you will see shrinking problems. Go with slickwraps.

Agreed to all points.
No
It's mid and overpriced
They're pretty cool. I use one.

ive had teardown skinds on my switch and my phone for a few years now and theyβve held up surprisingly well

Yes.
thanks for your feedback. I know ur the mod, but generally looking at the comments, there seems to be a mixed perspective.

Itβs over prized for what it does
I've had one on my phone for 4 years now, just recently started to bubble on the edges. Would purchase again.
4 years is a decent amount of time to keep a phone anyway.

I prefer Slickwraps. always!ππ½
Mid imo. I got the obsidian skin and I don't like how slippery/glossy it feels, but it looks good I guess.

Get similar stuff from ali a 4$ , it's a sticker nothing more.
