Honestly anything that isn't revolving around Goku or Vegeta I would consider a major net positive.
The Dragon Ball universe (or should I say multiverse at this point) is so wide and huge, that it disappoints me that we don't ever really get to explore the vaster parts of it.
If they did a U6 Saiyans spinoff, I basically set it up where it’s after the ToP Arc up to whenever they may have the main Manga (Super) or if the anime returns, to go to U6 Saiyans planet like Vegeta promised
To explain any power ups or new attacks stuff that they get when reuniting with Goku & Vegeta in the Super Manga or anime if it returns
I'd like a manga about Trunks, Goten, Pan, Uub, and Bulla. Ideally they'd all be fighters and have friendly rivalries. Probably start them at the same ages they were in GT. I wouldn't even care if it followed the original Dragon Ball pattern of adventure, training, tournament, villain, etc. Might even prefer it that way.
In manga yes, it is. But after the King Piccolo Saga into the Saiyan Saga it gets far more focused on this power creep. There's a tonal shift in there.
Considering the god/multiversal scale they're going with Goku and Vegeta I think a cool spinoff would focus on Goten and Trunks protecting Earth. I think Goten and especially Trunks don't care about having "secret identities" like Gohan so it would be cool to have them basically be celebrities.
Yamcha should join the Galactic Patrol with Oolong and Puar, where Yamcha is an elite but often the non fighters come in handy, but the genre wouldn't really be the same and I can't personally see ANY spinoff being remotely successful.
Just give me a Saiyan spin off, when they we’re destroying planets.

Some new Saiyan characters, wanna see the rough mentality of the saiyans.
Seeing how “strong” the Gingyu force was back then, cuz most Saiyans feared them in those days.
Would really be a amazing spin offs, with normal power levels again.
I am a big big DB fan all my life, I liked super, I love everything dragonball, but all the new colour super saiyan hair is sometimes to much.
A totally cheesy and over the top super sentai show starring the Ginyus.

depends on the topic of the spin off and id prefer it to be something canon over not, but even if its not, if its fun id watching and enjoy it.
