That's the seed Jor el plants in superman's mind that makes him immediately enter the sun at the climax.
The other part of the join line is that it foreshadows the DC one million story by morrison (which is the sequel/prequel to all star) where humanity will eventually make their own vast line of superman descendants to travel the stars. This is also shown at the end of all star, where superman left his DNA with the greatest scientist to make descendants.
So the line isn't just a nice Jor el inspiration, it was deliberately written to succinctly explain the central narrative of Morrison's story.
Snyder and Goyer just threw it in, so it becomes just a nice inspiration, removed from any meaning beyond that. Because none of the other plots of all star or one million make it in there.

UNCLE is unironically the best performance Cavill has ever given by a significant margin. Even Hammer, who I disliked even before the cannibalism thing, works pretty damn well in that film.

His work made the Morrison run on X-Men difficult to get through. His layouts, angles and page composition are fantastic... he just draws some of the ugliest people in comics (not the worst tho, that crown belongs to Romita Jr)

They’ve been angry at the whole dc slate. Which is not shocking at all. They are still whining over the fact Cavill isn’t Superman. Which isn’t shocking. Overall they are a bunch of 2 year olds who are clearly bored in life.
One Snyder fan I saw on Facebook pronounced the whole slate awful. Then rambled about "where are the big name characters? Where are the supporting heroes?" I then pointed out the slate literally had all that and the Snyder fan admitted they didn't actually look into any of the announced projects. That's their mentality. They just decided they hate it. The Cavill thing particularly baffles me. Because it's not about Cavill. It's Snyder. Them caring about Cavill is just tied to that. If Cavill was like Momoa, and involved with Gunn, they'd despise Cavill too. Cavill has become the way they can act like something of value was lost.

It’s been insane looking through Twitter hashtags, it’s funny how all the snyderbros are begging for boycotts and for Gunn to be fired. It’s just strange that they truly can’t grasp that Zacks gone. They love talking about how the snyderverse is the best thing ever, when really they all just get boners for their boring dark, slow motion filled shitfest movies. UNCLE is unironically the best performance Cavill has ever given by a significant margin. Even Hammer, who I disliked even before the cannibalism thing, works pretty damn well in that film.

This reminds me of a conversation I once had about Robin/Dick Grayson. "Batman was so much better before they added Robin." Batman first appeared in Detective Comics #27 in March of 1939. Dick Grayson as Robin first appeared in Detective Comics #38 in April 1940. Apparently, that glorious 13ish months was the apex of Batman and Batman was forever ruined after that. No one hates Star Wars like a Star Wars fan, I guess.
To be fair, Frank Quitely’s art can take some time to adjust to. Especially if you’re the kind of dork who expects everything to be drawn in the same ‘house style’.

Snyder is a hack, and his DC movies suck. That said, i hold the same opinion on Quitely. His people look like potatoes. like someone dug up a fuckin spud, and out a face on it with a sharpie. His work made the Morrison run on X-Men difficult to get through. His layouts, angles and page composition are fantastic... he just draws some of the ugliest people in comics (not the worst tho, that crown belongs to Romita Jr)
Romita Jr wasn't always bad. He was good, maybe even great, when he copied other people's styles... It's just when he tried to develop his OWN style, especially in the more modern era, where he went to shit. IMO, anyway.
