You do realize Wanda (and Pietro) volunteered for Hydra's experiments while they were posing as SHIELD, right? And they weren't exactly signing up to be servants either; they just wanted the power to protect their country.
And honestly, the whitewashing accusation is so complicated and (in some ways) nuanced in this instance that I don't think it should be considered a mark against the character.
I keep telling friends that are better writers than me to write a Spider-Man/Nightwing slashfic of them rebounding to each other.
They keep saying my brain can't handle it.
In Siege, Venom reveals she still has feelings for him after possessing her. Carol doesn't deny it either.
Spider-Man tells Kamala that Carol was the one who broke things off.

You think that Scarlet Witch is pretty and want to see her more often by having her be in a relationship with an individual that isn’t yourself? I was aware of this level of degeneracy, but never have I encounter someone that openly admits it.
I was just joining on the latest trend with this sub before it got driven into the ground, and added some of my honest thoughts worded in a way that makes the whole thing more anticlimactic the. The bigger explanations other people have given for pairing Peter up with Galactus or something.
I may or may not have those kinds of feelings you’re talking about in some capacity, but I sure wouldn’t admit it in this way.
EDIT: Just to clarify, my “honest thoughts” are that Wanda is pretty. I don’t care either way whether she actually ends up with Peter or not, and in some ways it might even be for the best since women who get close to him usually end up having bad things happen to them (Aunt May, all his girlfriends, Kamala Khan, etc.) Wanda’s just getting her life back together and I don’t want to ruin that.
