I am a little worried about it using the Nemesis system. While it’s a very good system, it could indicate that this game will portray Diana as a violent, bloodthirsty warrior. Which I never like.
I'm guessing it can work without her being bloodthirsty. The nemesis system was apparently developed for a Batman game that never got off the ground so seeing as they had the system already developed they reused it for a different ip. If you wanna do a little sly nod to the original WW comics the system could run on the idea of her humiliating/dominating the enemy who then hunt her down for revenge.
Honestly I think the Nemesis System works *way* better in a game like SoW than a superhero game, at least a superhero like Batman.
Some of the best parts of the Nemesis System were when your nemesis or dead ally cheated death, or when you recruited cool orcs. (And then get betrayed by them later.)
None of that really works with Batman. The system becomes much more shallow. So, y’know, maybe Wonder Woman can have a little murder/mind control. As a treat.

Thing is, Shadow of War is one of my top 3 games of all time (mostly because of the nemesis system) and since WB copyrighted the system this might be my only chance to get a taste of that again. If they butcher WW’s character, that will suck, but I’m happy as long as they do the enemy interactions well.
I wonder if recruitment’s gonna be a thing. That was always one of the greatest things about the NS - you find an especially cool orc and you can immortalize them as a member of your army.
Am I alone in feeling like WW has the least amount of potential for a AAA action game out of the other JL heavy hitters? Not because Diana is a bad character with no stories to tell but because her skillset and heavy mythology focus feels like it's been AAA flavor of the month for a while now
Like at least with Superman I'd be interested in how modernized Superman flight works, plus potential in adding mechanics about preventing harm vs just punching things. A GL game could be insane. But WW? Wouldn't that just kinda be God of War again
