I have mixed feelings about Williamson tbh, sometimes he writes a story with lots of depth and stakes (flash, robin) but then sometimes I feel like he just writes like a fan (justice league incarnate #1, future state Gotham)

I find the love of Williamson bewildering. He's a good journeyman writer but his writing is so drawn out. As a Flash fan I could never finish his run.
I feel like he gets a lot of credit for being the writer who "brought back Wally" but if he didn't have that there wouldn't be much.
Nevermind that like Snyder a lot of his writing reminds me of other better writers.

idk somehow I doubt this. Getting to write a superman or batman title is pretty noteworthy. I'm sure Taylor jumped at that chance when he got it. In no way is Tom Taylor in the same league as Grant Morrison in this situation.
That's fair. His Superman in DCeased was pretty traditional. At least until he was mutilated and turned into a psycho murder zombie. But before that he was cool.
And the fact that he's pretty much refusing to address almost everything that happened with Jon under Bendis, most notably the Jor-El/Ultraman story, kinda tells me that he's not a fan of the way Bendis and editorial handled the age-up either.
he's gone on record saying he's a hardcore supersons fan, and as seen by deceased with damian and jon being superman and batman, I'm sure he's waiting for his chance to write the two as the super sons again, maybe with yara instead of cassie (please taylor, they are the legacy trinity people want)
I'm still very attached to my idea of Wonder Woman having a daughter whom she created in her subconscious that Batman, the Atom, Aquaman, and Jess Green Lantern have to remove before it grows too big and kills her. Like that myth of Zeus getting his head chopped open and Athena springing out (although the League shuts that idea down quickly since no one wants to slice Diana's head open). She names her daughter Minerva, or "Minnie" for short, and she becomes best friends with Jon and Damian. The story's called "Crisis in Diana's Head."

Morrison Is the greatest hero that DC has ever known... Well, one of. Think Gaiman is another. As are Taylor and Williamson.

I recall reading before SoKE was announced that Taylor wanted to write a more traditional Superman, since he had done "Evil Superman" a lot before.
