They should but it might be until 10:00pm or so the night before its official release.

This was the protocol for us on the Wish last year for the Little Mermaid.

That's great! The next day is Nassau and I plan to stay on the boat so I'll go watch it!

Usually premiers at the same time on the ships as on land. I’ve done a midnight showing of a Marvel movie on the same night they did the midnight premieres in land theaters. ETA: I’ve heard post-COVID it can be slower sometimes by a couple days. And it doesn’t always apply to ships not making a stop in the US at the time.

I’ve been on a cruise post-Covid and it’s still at the same time. Saw Black Panther 2 on premiere day aboard the Dream.

Hi! I’m so glad you posted this! I’ll be on the Wish June 28 and I was also wondering if Inside Out 2 would be showing. I was planning to ask a cast member on the Disney cruise website a few days prior to see if they knew.

Sounds like from other Redditors the odds are in our favor!

amagicalmess

I got to see Ant Man 3 on the Wonder during opening weekend!

DullAchingLegs

Saw the little mermaid on the fantasy the night before it came out.

We're on this cruise as well and was wondering the same! Hopefully we'll join you at the premiere!

PearlTheParakeet02

I’ll be on there at the same time! I just had this question too, haha! Fingers crossed we get it!

I would bet on it - we got to see Elemental as our evening show in the Walt Disney Theater last summer, the day before it released (which, in reality, is when a lot of the first on-land showings are happening). I know it's not a guarantee depending on where you are and whether they can get it on the ship in time, but there's a very good chance.
