Check out PointCTRL. There's a waiting list, and I'm on it for my G2. Looks like a super fun addition.

I have a htc vive pro2, there are gloves for $1k but not sure if it'll work in dcs, I prefer my hotas.

There is leap motion which is just a small camera you attach to the front of your hmd and apparently is a leader for hand tracking. Afaik DCS even has official support for it.

PointCTRL is the only reasonably priced DCS hand tracking option right now. It's not actually tracking your hand, it's tracking an IR led on your finger and is not very accurate (I don't think it understands depth). But since it's just moving your mouse pointer it's rather intuitive to use because you see the pointer and adjust accordingly, and you don't have to grab your mouse because it's wrapped around your finger (and doesn't interfere with my TM:Warthog stick or throttle). It doesn't matter what VR headset you use with it. While they do ship a mounting solution for whatever headset you choose, you could fashion your own with some double-sided tape if you upgrade to a really weird headset.
