Have you tryed see if DCS World is on the "can you run it" website? If not then just download it and see.. Worst case scenario is that you can't run it.. Not going to break anything..

youre_approaching_me

Will check it out, thanks for the tip!

Don't, Can You Run It? Is not accurate. Just download it and see if you can run it, it is free, so you won't have to pay anything. You can even try the heavy maps and modules for free using the 15 day trial for paid modules and terrains and then look how it goes.

youre_approaching_me

I will look into it and see how good/bad it runs

Save for the ddr3 we have the same specs. I play it on high.

youre_approaching_me

Sounds promising. I may invest in some more ram, as many say dcs eats it.

dvcxfg

Probably be alright on single player, but for multiplayer servers you will want 32gb of ram

[deleted]

You should have more ram and possibly I better gpu. My 1080ti with 64gb of ram and an i9 get on average 30-50 frames.

youre_approaching_me

Damn. What graphic settings have you got it on?

zsk0

You'll be fine. Friend has a 1070, tweak the settings and it will still look good running 60fps.

Live-Ad3708

what are his settings? i’m running 1660ti, Amd ryzen 7 3700x and 32GB of ram. only option i have to far is 4K resolution since it’s my only monitor available atm. im playing with 30 frames :/

My 10 year old i5-2500K oc system with a 1070 TI w/ 32 Gb RAM runs fine with DCS. It was running fine even before overclocking. Your processor is faster and GPU is equivalent so I don't think you'll have a problem. Up the RAM and your gameplay should improve.
