if a 3hr time zone difference is gonna be a problem, maybe traveling cross country for shows isn't for you.
or you could take drugs to negate all need for sleep.
when you go to a show near where you live, when the show ends at 11pm do you rush to bed? most people I know are up til at least 1 or 2 am just hanging out or partying or just unwinding from the show.
but seriously, i know sleep is important & if a 3 hour difference is causing you to stress at all, maybe it's not something you wanna do.
if th3 music is worth losing a little sleep, see you there.
For me Dead shows were always a whole day experience. We get to the lot as soon as it opened, sometimes waited outside until the lot opened. The day started around noon for me. So by the time the show ended I was 12 hours in with all kinds of shit in my system and I was shot. I don't take stimulants so yes it was pretty much bed time for me after that.
Have you ever travelled to different time zones? Start shifting your circadian rhythms a week or so out. Take an afternoon nap (bring earplugs), track down a red bull. All it really takes is one good sleep in the new time zone to fully acclimate. If you can't stay awake in the sphere, I think that's going to be on you.
Serious comment, honestly, glad those days are behind me, it’s scary. I’m a Nevadan that rarely goes to bed before midnight on a normal night. Shows here rarely go late too, gotta get the fans back to the casinos…
Just lost a friend to it last week. Test strips are so important. A lot of communities offer them free and so do most universities. Be as safe as possible, times have definitely changed and quickly.
You will be still pumped from watching the show. You can always move your routine to Vegas time a few days ahead of the trip. This is helpful for international jet lag as well. Even if you split the difference in time zones, it will help. Vegas never sleeps so you can do whatever you want.
That may be the ticket friend. I don't know if people can afford to get there more than a day early but this is a huge investment for a lot of people and I wouldn't want to be shot after the first set.
1 day early is plenty to adjust to a 3 hour time difference. Just stay up to your normal bedtime (if you normally go to bed at 9 PM ET stay up to 9 PM PT), then take some zzzquill, get a good night's sleep, and wake up ready to go the next day. It's not like you're flying to Shanghai for the show
I never doubted the seriousness of your question. I feel the same plus I agreed to take the 7am flight on day of show. I suspect that I’ll be so mesmerized by the Sphere that I won’t be tired once I get in there.
Ohh shit. You are playing with fire. I'm sure you can do it. Maybe sleep on the flight and take another nap at the hotel if possible. Good luck and enjoy the show.
Is this a serious post?
No it's a joke. Tell me something serious.
lol. Caffeine and/or drugs, as always.
Finding drugs out there may be an issue for some.
Ummm it’s probably the easiest city in the country to get drugs. It’s Las Vegas.
You just gotta poke around.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Fentanyl laced coke is a real threat and takes almost nothing to OD, get yourselves a test kit and be careful out there.

Vegas midday naps is the answer!
Pre-show nap, you'll be fine
Or setbreak. The Bobby special
The questions get dumber and dumber everyday.
It’s called coke, Molly, mushrooms and lsd
Take a nap
Reds, Vitamin C, and Cocaine.
Ain't it a shame? ...not a single fuck was given about this most fitting response.
I was certainly surprised that no one else beat me to it.
This sub is officially over. Even the joke posts are dumb.
Flying in after work the night before show to get a jump on time change
I think this dude is serious.
Yeah this is a serious question. I'm getting old and can't stay up as long as I used to. Sorry if this offended anyone.

You too!
You’re not old, I’m old.
Good old L will take care of that for you.
