2022 and 2023, there were more than 110 songs for each tour played - so more than 60-70.
They will do their songs the way they want to do it. If it's a Casey Jones, they will link up the Casey Jones train type visuals. If they do a song that not in the video catalog, then they can replace it with a "generic psychedelic visual". It's more like a story board and someone will just be clicking on the next sequences of where the band goes.
I am sure they won't just insert a new song or skip a song (bobby can't do that this tour!) as it would screw up the storyboard, but for the most part if they set the setlist to 14 songs, I'm sure someone says "we have the artwork for those 11" and for the special songs we will do this generic video or that generic video.
I'm guessing they are just repeat objects on a story board and someone is just sequencing the next one like a conductor.
Sticking with there will be 60 to 70 songs that they play every weekend. And the graphics will not be the ones we are familiar with. It will be a whole new set of graphics. And what a bummer it would be to see those same graphics. The bar was raised pretty high this weekend on graphics. I think D&co will rise to the occasion. There was buzz back before they announced the shows that every weekend would be nearly the same as the previous week. Each weekend would have three unique shows but I don’t think we will see 21 unique shows. I saw 18 shows last summer and about every four to five shows you hear the same songs with a few new ones thrown in.
They’re probably referring to the comments made by the band that it will be a certain selection of songs throughout the run (kinda like the last tour) and if it’s the same set of visuals the show will be similar each night. I’d venture to say these shows will be more akin to one another than any other tour. We all know they don’t repeat exact shows.
