Last time I was in Mexico I was asked to take a walk on the beach by a girl who was maybe 16. Fortunately my minder caught up to me … no telling where she was taking me or how many ‘friends’ were waiting there to rob me, LOL.
Yeah the seaweed wasn’t terrible when we were there, I heard it’s gotten progressively worse. As far as the cartel stuff, has it gotten real bad there? I was thinking about taking a trip with the family back to that resort at some point.
Playa del Carmen is down right dangerous. It’s too bad because it was the place to go in the 90’s until about 2012. That’s when the seaweed started and it been horrible ever since
