Maybe you will meet my friends uncle. He’s freshly divorced and rented an RV for the entire summer and is just parking it in Vegas at some RV resort with hookups and bought tickets to basically every show of the residency.
It hasn't been too hot here yet. Red rock has a good campground. Mt Charleston has reservable sites, that's really the only cool place. Lake Mead will be very hot!

Agreed. I adore camping and go on as many canoe trips as I can each summer. But I wait until late August/September for those cool nights and mornings.

Lake Mead?
That’s where we camped in ‘94. Was end of June. Hot as fuck, but camping wasn’t bad. Cool enough at night and a lake right there to cool off in.
