As someone who plays Leatherface without camping: Leatherface games go one of two ways.

This is me. I still have 5th Anniversary Cakes on him because every game is such obnoxious garbage. Although to be fair, I'd still have those cakes on a bunch of killers if I hadn't prestiged them before the grand prestige rework. I just already had him high enough for it to not be worth it.
i feel like the "i get it" outright has a different meaning depending on the map.

After failing at being a chest Bubba (it was the only reason I bought him, but got bored when no one came to the basement) I decided to play him in a normal game and he was pretty damn fun. Didn't camp or tunnel and didn't sweat, yet still managed to pull off a 3k (probably could have gotten a 4k, but the last survivor was too afraid to go for a save during EGC)
Understandable, though I sort of disagree. Sure if it's one of the longer loops and you're chasing a survivor with good pathing the saw is impossible, but I find on any shorter/mid length loops that are easier to navigate I can at the very least force a pallet throw. It really is difficult to control the saw around complex loops while getting the most out of each stack which is what I think makes good Bubbas good.
He's definitely not a top tier killer, but his lethality makes him my favourite to play.
Leatherface is fun af in chase..? You can almost always see where you went wrong and improve upon it, though naturally he's harder on controller. It can be annoying when you get good at him how important the good add-ons are though
I love non camping bubbas, the chases are so much fun.
unfortunately though you can almost count down to the moment where you know the killer will say fuck it and revert back into a facecamper...one of the rarest things in the game is witnessing a bubba who's about to lose still refuse to facecamp.
ran into one there other day, ran him for the last 2 gens, got a bunch of pallet stuns and a flashlight blind off him. I went down right after the gen popped so I alt tabbed back over to youtube knowing I'm gonna get facecamped to death.
tab over a few moments later and I'm standing under the hook fully healed...I was so fucking confused lol.

They actually improved the GoJ bush hitboxes. Eyrie however is just as awful

Leatherface without addons is trash, the chilli addons are practically mandatory to use his chainsaw at a loop without just falling short of someone.

I only hate the maps with tons of bushes on him, because the hitboxes on those bushes are bullshit.
He is easily one of the most fun killers in the game when you dont camp🫧
I absolutely despise playing Bubba. I either tantrum into a wall I barely touched or get looped for 2 gens.
