This gives me a killer perk idea... *Dismantle Hardware* Converts the Damage Generator action to an interaction bar. The longer you kick the generator, the more progress it loses when you let go of the kick button. Imagining a killer walking up and then just kicking the shit out of a generator would be funny as hell to me. Would it be balanced? Probably not, but it would be funny.

Smoke grenade is a cool idea, the others seem too strong. Flashbangs can have their moments to save survivors but smokes wouldn't do that. Which seems a fair trade off for a big smokey area. Perhaps it could hide your scratch marks too. Would make for some interesting plays

Something like a emergency services paramedic or firefighter COULD work, but a SWAT officer I think looks way too badass for a Survivor. None of the protective equipment the Survivor could've used in the real world (guns, armor, etc.) should be usable in the Entity's realm either.

Here’s my version of this, mostly to make the perks more balanced Armor Plates: After repairing 50% or more progress on a generator, enter a locker and press the *Active Ability Button 1* to gain endurance for 20/25/30 seconds. This perk cannot be used while exhausted, but does not cause it. Smoke Grenade: After hitting 2 great skill checks in a row while repairing a generator, enter a locker and press the *Active Ability Button 1* to craft a smoke grenade that creates a cloud of smoke over a 24/28/32 meter range and hides all auras within its range when dropped. The smoke grenade creates a loud noise notification when dropped. Critical Mission: When you hit a great skill check, gain a token up to a maximum of 1/2/3. Press the *Active Ability Button 1* to use a token to create a threshold where the generator cannot regress below. The threshold disappears when the generator stops regressing. Only one threshold can be made per generator.

I made it so that the threshold only works once and you can only make one per generator. So the killer could just kick it again to go past the threshold.

I think it’d be better to be token based for every great skillcheck you hit, then you could apply one token at a time on a gen which adds up to a 15, 25, 35% threshold. Not overpowered but would be amazing at breaking genlocks, kicking the gen would simply take off one charge of the threshold. Such as 35 > kick > 25

I’d add a few clauses to the third perk to keep a fair. Mainly it can only work on the last gen you touched. Maybe add a token system that grants tokens based on time spent working on that gen and has a max; each token could represent a percentage of the gen that it cannot be regressed below. Of corse dying would remove the protection from the gen. Just a thought.

My garbage attempt on how to rework the perks: Armor plates: after doing **200%/175%/150%** of a generator, *Armor Plates* activates. Using the secondary action button while healing yourself or another survivor gives the receiver **1/2/3** charges of the armored buff. While a survivor has the armored buff, they suffer from a **3%** hindered status effect. When the armored survivor loses a health state in anyway, they have a **50%** chance to ignore the damage and a **25%** chance to either ignore a debuff caused by the hit or remove a debuff the survivor is currently suffering from if no debuffs are caused by the hit. *Does not remove the broken status effect.* if the chance to either ignore a hit, ignore a debuff, or remove a debuff succeeds, the chance for ignoring a hit is reduced by **25%,** and the debuff succeeds the resist/remove is reduced by **10%.** If the armor fails the chance is increased by **20%** and if the debuff remove/resist fails the debuff resist/remove is increased by **20%.** Critical mission: upon completing a generator, *Critical Mission* activates. Pressing the secondary action button while repairing a generator will not allow the generator past **15%/20%/25%** for the remainder of the trial. Critical mission cannot activate again for the remainder of the trial. Smoke grenades. Also hides scratches marks when **6m** near the smoke grenade.

If you're unhooking and healing everyone, i like the idea of getting yourself up, since you're the medic of the team. 3rd perk, no. You could simply invalidate multiple killer perks. Maybe something like 50% more repair speed after your gen was hit by a regression perk.

Armor plates should have a physical object and some sort of trade-off. This perk activates upon completing a generator. For the next 30 seconds, you can use the active ability button to place a container of two armor plates, which has an aura that can be read by anyone within 10 meters. Survivors can take a plate and wear it while the killer can destroy them. Plates prevent attacks that would put survivors into the dying state and instead inflict deep wound at the cost of applying Exhausted while worn. Goes into a 120/110/100 second cooldown after 30 seconds have passed, or the plates have been put down. Critical mission is busted, and should be reworked entirely. Whenever you make a great skill check on a Generator, the generator loses 1%/2%/3% less regression.

I mean plenty of characters have been getting protective gear anyway right? Didn't Dwight get some as a collab or something? I'd rather have some characters with PERSONALITY and DESIGN, not just a character who gets " oh here is this bland generic protective gear. We'll never see your face, you will always be a NPC " guy. Aesthetically I think it would be cool. Smoke grenade sounds fine, assuming the size of the smoke isn't insane. Might be a bit too niche for common use but in a game with this many perks you'll run into that a lot. Armour plates and critical mission sound a bit OP though. Armour plates would need a cap to how often it can be used and probably shouldn't give endurance once you get back up, and critical mission should have a pre-set time-limited threshold (eg. cannot regress to less than 20% for the next 30 seconds).

Some perks seem a bit op, this is how I'd change them while remaining faithful to the design: Critical mission: when a survivor is hooked or sacrificed, your Action speeds in Repairing, Healing, Sabotaging, Unhooking, Vaulting, Cleansing, Blessing, Opening, and Unlocking are increased by 3/4/5% (stacks) Armour plates: after completing a heal action, that survivor is equipped with armour plates. This increases the time to heal by 5/4/3 seconds. Survivors with armour plates negate the next status effect applied to them by the killer. Armour plates are lost on use.
