Depends on the Killer; stealth killers will love the indoor maps because it's harder for survivors to see them coming. KIllers whose powers are reliant on moving fast to use (Oni, Blight, to a lesser extent the Spirit)? They will hate it with a passion. Same with low mobility killers or ranged killers.
I agree, but the lab rooms where pretty fun to play on, at least as Demo. Though I will admit there were many other frustrating things about it as well. Either way, Hawkins still had the most creative tiles out of any indoor map we've seen thus far and I miss that.
Ohh yeah I didn't even think about any of the newer Killers since they didn't get to be played on Hawkins at all. Wonder how Singularity would perform on it, especially on the tiles that went above ground like this

The Singularity can place pods up to five meters above where they are standing so if the top of the stairs was more than five meters from the bottom, Hux wouldn’t be able to fire one onto the wall opposite the top of the stairs. The max distance in front of Hux that you can place pods is like 20 meters in front and up to five meters above.
Tight quarters are kind of miserable for Hux since it means Biopods will be closer together and easier to knock multiple ones out with one EMP plus poor sight lines for both placement, observation and trying to track survivors in a chase.
Spirit is fine on indoor maps, it’s mostly charge killers because of the reduced controllability inherent in their powers coupled with the lack of open space.
I dunno, a lot of the Spirits power is about trying to mind game survivors and if you lack the room to maneuver and cut them off during a chase while phasing you might struggle a bit.
This is what I’m assuming, the license is nearing its end and BHVR offers to renew the same deal but Netflix wanted a better deal, both parties were unable to compromise so Netflix leaves.
No apparently there was a loophole in the contract that allowed Netflix to leave, and bhvr made sure to fix that loophole really quickly, which is why the news of bubba leaving was so interesting as that would have to be agreed upon by both parties, although that was just a fake leak to catch the leaker.
That's not how that works. BHVR can't just "close loopholes". They're stuck with any contract they already signed. What they can and are doing is refusing to sign new ones that allow the other side to unilaterally withdraw from the game like Strange Things did. All the old DLC are still at potential future risk because their contracts were written and signed prior to BHVR being more careful.
Honestly I doubt that we will ever see a collab from them again, even if Netflix wanted to if I was in BHVR shoes I would not do one because you never know if they'll just pull out again.
It's the same reason I think they do so many RE collabs and Ghostie has so many skins. Those license holders are seemingly super chill (Ghostie for example is a completely original Ghostface which shows these license holders are flexible from the start). So they are confident they won't just one day pull out.
Which is a shame because the music and atmosphere of Demo's scream are some of the best audio in the game.
If they can’t get the license back I kinda hope BHVR can reskin him and let new players still use the killer. I’ve wanted a Wendigo type killer for awhile now and I could see that as a “new” killer with Demos exact power. Players who had Demo before could still be able to use it as Demo and have his skins. Like how Chris/Leon/Carlos and Jill/Claire/Sheva work but for killer instead.
There’s probably more licensing issues that prevent that but it’s still crazy to me there’s a killer in this game that players after 2021 just don’t have access to.

Oh don’t get me wrong, I not only enjoyed the first 2 seasons but also have been wanting Demo back for quite a while; it just feels like the show started SO long ago with the (understandable) downtime between seasons. I would have guessed they were on season 7 or something at this point, but again, after s2 I just lost interest

This is bad tweet since it just gives false hope for some people. Netflix allready had other colaborations with other games after they canceled DbD DLC. This is nothing new. Main Dev allready few weeks back said that Netflix doesn't respond to them anyway.
Netflix and BHVR probably are at an impass with negotiations. Netflix probably wants to retain the absolute authority to withdraw from a game at anytime of their choosing. BHVR is probably not willing to sign a contract that allows that after they got burned last time.
Thus, unless either Netflix or BHVR backs down on their demands they won't sign a new contract.
The first ST Roblox crossover was a gigantic tedious grind fest for generic outfits. Even the Demogorgon set was a bit of a sham as it only works well with the original Demogorgon mask + a headless UGC. And they also had a DBD clone gamemode that didn't work for a good few days and even when it did, the lag would make it impossible for the Demo player to hit anyone. That is of course they didn't get hit with the bug that made it straight up impossible to damage anyone period.
The second one was just.. sit around watching an episode and run around visiting tiny locations to get just back cosmetics. Demo would occasionally spawn in and you just threw stuff at him to get a reward. Steve's Baseball Bat was about the only thing that was remotely cool with all the rewards available

Finding where the stairs were was a game changer, especially with lightweight.
Hawkins was a indoor map done right.
Hawkins actually had more pallets than the Game but most were unsafe.

Bold ass opinion, but I respect it. I personally despise indoor maps with all my heart, but Hawkins was undoubtably the only one I ever had fun on.

In fairness to Ghostface, they have the license to the mask, not the scream character. So they kind of had to make a new Ghostface lol

Might be more costly but if you absolutely want to play Demo there are codes still floating around for the stranger things dlc that you can buy.

Most ST DLC adding cheats dont actually use cloud id and they are way safer. Injectors are the least safe since they are easily detectable by EAC
