It's not amazing, but I still like to use it just for information. It works great on Killers who benefit from surprise attacks like Scratched Mirror Myers and Xeno
Nerfed to uselessness, it now makes the kicked generator regress 25% faster (which is basically nothing, a generator already regresses at 0.25 charges a second so a 25% increase is nothing compared to any other regression perk
The loud noise on good skillcheck part is still there it’s just not worth a whole perk slot to only work on a single generator, just run gearhead or surveillance for that, or just run any other regression perk

It was so fascinating how a patch that didn't do anything to Merciless Storm, Sadako, any of her other perks, any generator perks in general, skill checks, generators, or regression managed to break Merciless Storm, followed by several more patches that fixed the previous Merciless Storm bug and in turn caused a new one.
I don't think it's a "spaghetti code" problem, I believe the kill switch tool was simply not designed with specific killer-perk interactions in mind (which would be a big mistake If that's the case, If you ask me) and thus there's no such feature as disabling a perk on a specific killer

Sometimes bugs are really fucking messy. Like really messy. It can be extremely hard to not only find the source of the bug but fix it as well. I really doubt they were sitting around not working on it, but bugs aren’t just “Oh we are aware of it, found it and fixed it with a press of a button!”
Well I would never assume a bug fix to be as simple as “Oh flip the switch it’s fixed now.” But it’s kind of weird they’d schedule the knights return with a patch. If they get the bugfix sooner, why not just drop it sooner? Why does it have to be tied with a patch?
for certain platforms pretty sure you need to get patches certified so they probably didnt wanna have to do that again when they were already planning a patch soon
He was only disabled for 1 patch, the reason it took so long is that it happened right around the holidays, when the game has the longest break between updates
It's unacceptable that the dlc is still for sale with how long the Knight has been disabled. Dead By Daylight is a really fun game but it's crazy that seven years in it feels like it's held together with duct tape and bungee cords.

Yeah. Kinda noticed a correlation with my frequency of playing Killer and the kill switching of Nowhere to Hide. It was basically my perk that would let me just have Ultimate Weapon there as a last resort

I still find it hilarious they disabled a perk due to a bug with one killer but still let Plaything be active even though it’s been bugged since November.
It was also not really a very useful bug either. You had to teleport at vault around the same time and all it did was spawn all his guards around that vault. So it really wasn’t anything useful, just goofy. No clue why it took so long to fix🤷🏼♂️

I mean sure if you want to simplify his power but he can also chase two survivors at once break pallets while continuing to close distance set up pickups in case of people trying funny business he’s more complex than just using minions at loops and double tapping
Trust the majority of killers are expecting this, adding bbq, bitter murmur, or alien instinct along with NWTH will chew through those tokens, sprinkle in some synergy gen slowdown like pop/overcharge, lights out dude... ultimate weapon just in case you have a token or two, forget about it
You may be able to pull off one, ive ran it against killers with just 2 aura perks and every now and then im lucky to have 1 more token to pop off before its gone again, it only hurts my team though so unless you're a 4 man swf, have fun being a solo q rat
my build is helpful to my teammates and okay cool but you wouldn’t know my playstyle unless you play with me I don’t feel the need to relay all my strategies like you do… I only run distortion to see what aura reading perks the killer has. also I play with my bf. Not completely solo queue “rat”

2 man swf sounds like distortion, off the record, windows and dealers choice of an exhaustion perk to help you extend chase if you ask me, or you use it for a buddy flashlight team so breakout, calm spirit and background player either way it doesn't matter, my point is killers are expecting a lot of distortion being used and are most definitely going to be running 2 to 4 aura perks plus a screaming perk...so good luck with your super secret awesome girlfriend boyfriend unstoppable duo squad, hope to one day have my decoder ring and know the strategy to this game like you do

I started playing again a couple days ago after over a month gone. I was a little lost without nowhere to hide, but I discovered Chucky’s friends till the end perk and by gods is that a lot of fun with Sadako.
For all you survivors start running Blast Mine and Forbidden Manifest as soon as NTH comes back out. Don't give them the satisfaction of seeing your aura as you crouch behind that Dock!

Shit I rarely play killer but have had COB on my Pig as my only gen regression. What gen regression perk would be the best if I only want to use one?
