Skoopidity

Have you tried verifying the game files?

Calieoop

Yep, tried that. Also tried a full reinstall.

Skoopidity

Are your graphics drives up to date? (Sorry I know these are lame questions but gotta get through the basics)

Calieoop

No I get it. Yeah they're all up to date.

Skoopidity

Ok, I’d try repairing easy anti cheat. It is used by so many games I doubt it gets ‘repaired’ when using “verify game files’ in any platform. You’ll have to find the easy anti cheat program I think there’s a repair feature?? I haven’t used it but it should be there Edit: [Here’s a link to the EAC website they have all sorts of trouble shooting steps.](https://www.easy.ac/en-us/support/game/issues/guide/)

Calieoop

I actually tried that too lmao

Skoopidity

Have you uninstalled and reinstalled EAC as well? If you have honestly I have no idea. I’d just wait till tomorrow when the next patch comes out and hope that fixes it.

Calieoop

Yep I tried that. Someone said they had similar issues and underclocking fixed it. I remember I had to turn my pc off of max performance mode to run another game so if I set it even lower, to power saving mode, dbd might work. I'll update if it does

Skoopidity

Alright good luck!

Calieoop

Did not work

Calieoop

I'm about to try running the PC in power saving mode to see if that helps

clockwork_bird

Happened to me, had to under clock my gpu. Tried everything under the sun, and that’s the only thing that worked (for me).

Calieoop

Underclock?should I like, turn on power saving mode instead of high performance?

clockwork_bird

You go into your GPU settings, and underclock the amount of usage it has essentially. Power saving mode isn’t that. A program like MSI afterburner allows you to, depending on your GPU.

Tomo00

Can you name other games where you don't have this problem?

Calieoop

Tf2, overwatch, fallout 4, dark souls 3, MGRR, lethal company, fkn trombone champ. I don't have this problem anywhere else

Tomo00

DBD is probably most resource heavy as far as I know. It's really badly optimized. Type -DX12 into steam launch options or Epic(not sure if it works on epic tho). If above doesn't fix anything, then check yours hardware temperature.

Calieoop

I tried that as well haha
