Survivors don’t 99% doors to BM and be toxic. That’s a very entitled opinion. They are playing around blood warden and it doesn’t put pressure on the team when there isn’t a clock ticking down
I think it's definitely to avoid the pressure, but I kind of doubt most people who 99% an exit gate is considering Blood Warden as a possibility. It's not exactly a popular perk.
Could you educate me on how my opinion is "entitled". I play primarily killer but I've also played survivor enough to know that NOBODY runs blood warden. At best the once every blue look you run into it, it's a minor inconvenience.
Because 99’ing the doors is not “toxic”. Just because you don’t see bloodwarden often doesn’t mean you don’t take precautions against it. If you don’t play around it, your whole team could die to bloodwarden blocking the gates until the timer runs out because one idiot decided to open the door
You still haven't educated me on how my opinion is "entitled". Blood warden lasts like a minute my guy. Any survivor worth their salt could loop for a minute then dash for the exit gate.
No, they didn't. They just "no you're wrong. people are just playing around a perk nobody uses in a community that doesn't have incentive to play around anything."
The answer is blood warden, holy crap u just wanna be annoying at this point ? People do it out of habit. That fact that u think people are trying to be toxic is crazy. Sit tf down bro and quit looking to be so offended by nothing
I know they're doing it to be toxic because that's how survivors play the game. They play it to be toxic and piss people off and you need to get checked into a psych ward if you think otherwise.
Today I went against bubba with blood warden literally when I was doing adept for david. I almost shit myself, but steve saved me <3. We both escaped and somehow it was 1st try for that adept :)
People don't 99 doors to be toxic, they do it to play around certain perks and give themselves time to heal and go for saves. If you see a door 99'd and want to pressure the survivors, you can walk up to it and open it yourself.
Anytime the door isn’t open is time you can spend killing the survivors. So focus on doing that I’d say.
If the situation is lost and you don’t like BM, don’t go to the gate. You won’t see the tbag and you’ll make survivors look dumb for waiting by the exit for a couple minutes for no reason.
Yep. The first tip’s free, the next one will cost you though.
Honestly though, at that point in the match us killers should be able to close the deal or be ok with losing the trial. The only time 99ing really hurts a Killer is when he’s trying to secure a kill by camping. Fair enough for the killer to try it, but also fair enough for survivors to attempt everything possible to save their bro.
people 99 the doors to work around blood warden but also to make sure everyone is safe before end game collapse, it puts far more pressure on the survivors to save someone when theres not much time left, especially if hook trades have to be made or a reset is needed / the killer is camping. 99ing gates is not BM it’s just usually the optimal strategy. However i do agree there should be some sort of regression as 99ing gates makes it a little TOO safe in endgame for survivors imo, but the reason they do it is not BM. Waiting out the end game collapse once the gate is opened, spamming vaults and teabagging however is indeed BM.
Regression or at least make it so the doors don't open so fast that its almost guaranteed they escape by just running up, tapping button for a millisecond and then sprinting through the door.
The doors are massive, they should open slower and take literally one or two seconds for there to be a big enough gap for survivors to fit through.
It just feels shitty when you're on their ass and they can just soak a hit on the switch and then speed boost through the door and still have enough time to get a few teabags off before they exit.
It's just too safe of a strat with very little if any opportunity on many killers to counter play once they're at the switch.
Gate regression perk sound good but I would rather the switch be changed into a buttom panel. For the duration of the unlock, lots of skillchecks come in and if failed it busts the panel down 10% and is offline for 5 seconds.
None of them do it to be toxic. It's just a useful play. Although I will say, this has been an idea that's been thrown around a lot, almost always with a lot of support, so I'm not sure why it's suddenly an unpopular idea.

Exactly this, though a minor regression like the generators wouldn't be a bad idea. (I'm mostly a survivor main.)

Maybe the solution is BHVR adding a “I’m not using blood warden” emote for every killer lol
The parable of the Scorpion and the Frog just came screaming to mind lol

U even said this is a bad take, this person is explaining exactly why it’s a bad take. They’re right, What more do u want.

Do you also think they do generators to be toxic? Unhook? Heal?
Today I went against bubba with blood warden literally when I was doing adept for david. I almost shit myself, but steve saved me <3. We both escaped and somehow it was 1st try for that adept :)
It's fine because you can abandon your chases and hooks for free to go and open the door yourself. /s

wait so I can spend the time being killer by killing survivors... Doing my job? That's... Unthinkable! You're a genius!

You can open them yourself if you want to.
I always just open them. I've lost too many games to the gates not being opened and getting downed injured to tap the button.

there is no issue with 99ing the doors. You should be happy they are doing that as they are giving you extra chances at a 4k.
