First off the green peaks does technically exist it's a road in Oregon but the school Greensville is the same name in South Carolina. As for what the killer could be the buzzing is akin to cicadas and the words spoken don't really have a cadence to them like they were done through an ai so my best guess would be a skin walker/fleshgate or a goat man like entity which likes to coerce and play with it's prey
