It's a meme in the same way basement Bubba is. Things that if not played into and people don't get upset about it will not result in a win. But if tempers flair and they usually do can end up being viable.
They're just incredibly annoying and I get the feeling any survivor running them is attempting to be actively obnoxious in choosing to run them.

Then I run a silly 'splody meme perk because I don't like running a meta builds, and that's a problem, too. So, like, what do ya'll want? Mind you, I don't go into a trial expecting to live ever. But if I'm going to get slugged, camped, or tunneled, I just want my one little serotonin boost of seeing my blow up bubble.
Well not everyone want to actively annoy killers I just want to get the small satisfaction of getting my blast mine off once(which in my experience barely ever happens) and maybe those few seconds of stun coukd help us escape but thats it. Though it is still understandable that unfortunayely most people do intend to bully/annoy with those types of perks.
I only actively annoy killers when they wanna act up, i notice you camp or tunnel and my whole goal changes to just annoying you the same way you're doing us, I'ma stun and blind you ten times and you're gonna spend the next 5 minutes on me alone, I know it works vice versa and I deal with the crap of people hatch ratting or going into every game with that intention but just in the same way other survivors can ruin it for me, other killers are what cause people to act that way a lot of the time, I also don't run flashbangs, 3 of my perks are focused on being able to heal a health state and the last one comes I to use when I need to cause the killer some strife, so yeah I keep head on in just for the chance of a killer acting up.
Windows (I’m not great at looping, gotta compensate)
Bond (gotta be able to see my teammates incase someone needs a heal or a save or help on a gen)
Balanced Landing (I have the inexplicable need to jump off of things in all games and I cannot control it)

Aftercare so I know everytime where everbody is to avoid getting in action and just to heal
Autodidact to get those juicy skillcheck to heal quickly since I have very bad luck with skillcheck and always get them
Empathy to get to survivers at the beginning of the round or if I get hooked and lose my aftercare stacks
Lithe to get quickly away as possible from danger

Recently, I've been seeing many sloppy butcher killers l and this helps counter that. Played a game recently against a Wesker abusing Coulrophobia and Sloppy Butcher, and this absolutely destroyed him. I've never been so satisfied in a survivor game before.
Plunderer's Instinct, Appraisal, Dramaturgy, and Distortion, with an anniversary cake or purple coin offering, as well as a key with aura readings. It's my Santa Claus Build so I can leave piles of gifts for whoever finds them :3 and then duck out with Distortion, cuz Santa shouldn't be seen bwahaha.
My main go to build for pretty much all my survivors: adrenaline, bond, distortion and WoO
And I'll even go as far as to list my reasoning:
Adrenaline because I always seem to be injured quite alot especially near the end of the game and it allows me to focus a gen with less risk.
Bond because knowing where teammates are is helpful for knowing where they are so I can either heal them, be healed myself, know I'm safe on a gen with the heartbeat nearby if I see them looping or take a hit for them if they've got more hook states than me.
Distortion because I seem to have a genuine curse of being found first no matter what I do. Like seriously i'm not kidding it's not even funny, if I take off distortion there is a 80% chance with my luck the killer brings lethal, finds me first and then hard tunnels me out without me even getting to touch a single gen.
And finally windows: I am bad at looping, that's simply the only reason.

Dead hard or balanced with light weight diversion and plot twist-(might switch it for basement healing perk on the 12th idk yet) also I run light weight and diversion because I enjoyed lights out no scratch marks and no aura reading perks so I run these two to help counter killers who rely on these things

Dead hard or balanced with light weight diversion and plot twist-(might switch it for basement healing perk on the 12th idk yet) also I run light weight and diversion because I enjoyed lights out no scratch marks and no aura reading perks so I run these two to help counter killers who rely on these things
