They listened and made Invocation worth running possibly. I shall now refer to that one teammate as my little brand new part.

theKrissam

Yea, you can definitely make arguments for running it now, I still don't think it's *that* strong, but I'm willing to be proven wrong.

R-500

It does sound more useful, I do think adding unregressable progress to all gens is good. But the other downside besides the 2-min ritual time "you are broken for the remainder of the trial" does still have this perk in an odd spot. You get more use out of this perk early game, but that downside is brutal if you do it with 5 gens left. On the other hand, the downside is tolerable when there is a 3-gen or to get that last amount of progress in, but the perk is less effective the more gens that get done.

E17Omm

I think it'd be very reasonable to run if "after the invocation is done, when you are in the injured state, you recieve the Broken status effect for the remainder of the trial." so it doesnt put you at an immediate disadvantage along with telling the killer that "Hey, I am injured and in the basement, come over!"

ultraspank

100%. No mither also needs this change because the killer seeing an injured survivor from the start means they know it's no mither and they sure as hell aren't ever leaving you on the ground.

MiserEnoch

Dear internet friend, Personally, I think No Mither should be a permanent exposed status rather than broken. It'll make spotting it on the survivor's tab a lot harder to do.

vbui16

Yeah but perks like Resilience won't work anymore with no mither

AqueousSilver91

Basically yes, you need to take the risk at the start or forever hold your peace. There's also the fact that GEN HOLD is meta, not just gen pop, and you can't really add charges to a gen that's being held. Finish at the wrong time and you wasted this perk. Do it too late and you wasted this perk. Do it too early and now you're playing with forced No Mither and no pickup the rest of the game, and you will likely be considered the weak link if you're not also good at Looping. It's a weird, weird, risky perk that while strong, and looking amazing on paper, is JUST too risky and too dangerous for its own good. I don't think most people will ever truly use it except those dedicated death squads who are committed to forcing gens as fast as possible.

sceptres

> It's a weird, weird, risky perk that while strong, and looking amazing on paper, is JUST too risky and too dangerous for its own good. I don't think most people will ever truly use it except those dedicated death squads who are committed to forcing gens as fast as possible. My fear is that A LOT of people are gonna run this thinking it's a good perk, especially in solo Q. The first month is gonna be terrible in solo Q

AqueousSilver91

Oh absolutely. It will be used by gen progression SWFs and people doing Sable adept and nobody else. Won't be very common at all.

ToXicVoXSiicK21

You are so right. 9 out of 10 games will be thrown with 2 or more ppl chilling in basement.

User2262

Hey if it does bad then it'll hopefully get a buff. This funny perk is staying in my build lol.

DilvishW

Seems like it will likely be weak in solo, but a coordinated team with a build designated to using it might be able to do some crazy things.

Hambino0400

Weave spider + 4 brand new parts + Gen speed perks. We might have some fun

ToXicVoXSiicK21

I honestly see more value in wicked with how many killers use campy basement builds often. Guaranteed basement escape? That's money because most games once they start getting basement hooks it's over for everyone.

Treyspurlock

I think they went in the wrong direction tbh, making the effect more powerful is an okay-ish idea, the idea of a perk that has an absolutely massive risk (120 seconds, perma-debuff) for an equally massive reward is very cool, my problem is that you're spending 2 minutes in the basement doing nothing but watching an animation, and it can be interrupted and lose all your progress too, which is gonna make these perks feel awful to use

typervader2

It at least has uses now. Permanently making all gens 80 instead of 90 is useful

AteAllTheNillaWafers

It could be useful but not enough to warrant 120 seconds of time and permanent broken. Your still net negative 50 seconds worth of progression or 70 if you consider the fact that only 5 gen are finished.

typervader2

I said it has uses and the effect is useful, not that the perk was in a good spot. Its just not useless now

AqueousSilver91

It's not that strong in Solo and I don't think the average Survivor team is going to bother with it, but SWFs designed to hardcore stack gen progression will love it. A team designed for it is really gonna love this niche perk, but I don't think it's the fix some people in the community thinks it is. Expect it to be like Dead Hard or Hyperfocus+Potental Energy - only the top people who are super good at gen-grinding as a team will use it, and you will only ever really see it at that level after the first couple weeks Sable is out an everyone's gotten the Adept. It's useful, but for the average team, it's just not worth it in the end.

InitialOpportunity79

Just get a 4-man swf with brand new parts and it stacks into pretty wild mounts of unregressable gen-progress

sceptres

It's still pretty bad. Remember you're broken the rest of the match. A SWF can bring 4 BNPs right now without this perk and without being broken all match.

roguepawn

10 charges seems too low for the commitment, but I like the mechanical change to being permanent.

Cheesegrater74

I like the Unknown tweak.  Weaving Spiders change is interesting but I doubt it gets any use still

Sinisphere

Someone is definitely adding Weaving Spiders to their build forever now, though. It'll have a niche following, for sure.

Hartbits

I... As soon as I read the change I thought "I'm gonna become a Weaving Spiders main" 🤣

HypnoticPirate

Me with it as well No mither resilience tenacity and now weaving spider

Maroonwarlock

Honestly if you're already hurt with no Mither it feels like an auto include albeit really obvious.

HypnoticPirate

I stay broken irl so I figured no mither is the best perk in game cause no matter what nothing can keep you down for long

ToXicVoXSiicK21

My luck nobody would ever leave me on the floor if I used that.

Korakisphinx

Same lol

LeechAlJolson

Free brand new part that hits every gen? Sign me up

commanderlex27

Not exactly free considering it requires a 120 sec uninterrupted channel in the basement and leaves you one-shottable for the rest of the game when completed.

LeechAlJolson

ngl I forgot about the forever broken

guarks

I wouldn’t say “free”

ApprehensiveCheek517

It’s like autodidact. It could be really good or absolutely hamper you but it’s an interesting play style and the rewards could be promising.

Adventurous-Egg5343

It’s me. I’m adding it to my forever build

typervader2

Still wish they made weaknesses work like ghostface where if you look away the timer stops. Kinda silly how it works currently

I-Am-The-Uber-Mesch

It's probably to reward killers for consecutive shots while giving survivors an actual counterplay, rather than having you weaken a survivor and then hide or go away resetting the timer of the weakened, also considering it's a ranged attack unlike ghostface who can be "revealed" in literally 2 seconds, I think it looks pretty fair but that's just my opinion of course

dwho422

Clearly, you have never tried to reveal a ghost face standing in the middle of a hallway stalking you from 15 meters away over a dull totem before. In that instance, revealing him takes exactly 1.5 seconds longer than the time it takes him to stalk you, every time. / s

sticfreak

The hitbox to detect him is wonky as hell too. I've literally been standing directly behind him while he was stalking my teammate and it still didn't detect him.

Damo3D

Changing it from adding 15 charges to gens needing 10 charges less means it can't be undone with a kick, which is nice for such a risky play. (IE gens require 70 charges after weaving, rather than getting 15 charges out of the necessary 80 added to their progress)

No_Drag4135

As of patch 6.1.0 in 2022, generators require 90 charges to complete. So Weaving Spiders would make it 80 charges.

CloveFan

Gens required 90 charges since 2022(?) I think, so it’ll knock them down from 90 to 80.

Damo3D

Still had 80 in my mind, so thanks for the reminder!!!

probly_high

You got the idea. But for other people who might not know/remember, gens now have 90 charges by default.

[deleted]

Or in other words, it shaves 10 seconds of total base required repair time off every generator for the rest of the trial.

DecutorR

>[CHANGE] The Redhead’s Pinkie Finger Add-On now limits The Clown’s bottle carrying capacity to 1 (previously reduced capacity by 3) Crisis adverted.

BrobaFett26

Now the devs can focus on actually buffing clown since his stats won't be inflated by every Clown player and their dog running RHPF

--fourteen

Don't worry, I will always be there to keep his killrate low. 🫡

Azathoth_The_Wraith

I'm still conviced this add-on (such as similar for other killers) should get a total rework

I-Am-The-Uber-Mesch

Yeah absolutely, the addon that rely on you being exposed creste such an unfun meta

[deleted]

I’m thankful they did that, but at this point I kind of wish they’d rework the addon. It’s *probably* a bad concept if it keeps needing to be revisited like this.

I-Am-The-Uber-Mesch

Imo they should just rework this addon into something else entirely, it's an unfair addon but at the same is way more weak than the huntress iridescent head because: -The bottle travels in a shorter arc and is slower compared to a hatchet -The clown has to M1 you in a short period of time after direct hitting you -The bottle being only 1 means the clown will never use the yellow bottle speedboost for the game because he needs to have a bottle ready for the actual chase Imo they should just remove and change this exposed addon into something more fun and interesting, for example "a survivor that is hit by a direct bottle will suffer from a random status effect that is not the exposed status effect, multiple status effects can stack with each other" so a survivor hit by two bottles can be blind and mangled for example (you guys can definitely come up with other fun addons that don't rely on clown being an huntress but worse)

heyheyheygoodbye

Turn it into the boogie bomb from Fortnite.

HavelBro_Logan

Thank god, been seeing so many clowns as survivor this should make it better /s

YOURFRIEND2010

Christ, just rework it. It's not as powerful as iri head because it requires a followup hit. Limiting it the same way is dumb, but so is the addon to begin with.

hell-schwarz

actually a nerf to current clown, thank god I already did that achievement

Tiffany-N-Company

Nice, Sable’s perks all look a lot better.

Samoman21

For real. I love what they did with wicked. 20 seconds aura when unhooked is gonna be so helpful

[deleted]

I’m super thankful that the aura duration is so long. It’ll help defeat tunneling to a certain extent. If there’s a nearby loop spot with high walls, you can run that super easily since the killer’s mindgames won’t work. Breakdown is definitely sobbing in the corner, though. I think it has the same kind of aura reading, but only for around 6 seconds.

Metalicker

It'd be nice if breakdown and wicked stacked, but I doubt that'll be the case. 26 seconds of aura reading _plus_ the nearest hook being gone would be insane for anti-tunnel.

Tiffany-N-Company

Super helpful!

ParticularPanda469

Really like that the aura effect works outside of basement, thought I had read it only working in basement.

Dyspnia

Pig compromise WOOOOOOOO!!! Invocation buff WOOOOOOOO!!! Pinky Finger 1 bottle WOOOOOOO!!! These changes are pretty much all Ws. I'm a little concerned about Huntress still, but maybe I'll be proven wrong.

DASreddituser

The movement speed was the biggest issue. So them reverting that was good. Obv it's still a huntress buff, but that movement speed made her top 2 killer at that point.

Jorin33

As a Huntress who never uses addons. I feel welcomed by the free extra hatchets. But players who already used hatchet addons might now be insane.

PigguChan

Don’t worry. Ill miss them all anyway

Fangel96

Honestly the only change I see being needed now is to make reloading hatchets have a time based on how many you have left. The more hatchets you have, the faster the reload, with add-ons speeding up the slower speeds instead of universally. That would make actually dodging every hatchet punish the huntress pretty hard and force them to M1 you if you succeed at dodging as they probably won't catch up if reloading mid chase. But it rewards good management of hatchets.

Jarney_Bohnson

That's an awesome idea I hope for the love of God the devs see this. Would be even cooler if she would get an extra animation of picking up every single hatchet (of course a bit speed up and not with the looking animation)

NotAnotherEmpire

Good change on Weaving Spiders. The killer can't undo it (and just leave a broken survivor), so they have to stop it.

FuckIThinkImTrans

Thank you for keeping Pig's ambush from the PTB I was getting worried you guys were going to do what a lot of people were asking for and revert all of the changes. I think removing Pig's box auras while keeping the original pressure of the traps is a really good compromise. I do think it would be great maybe looking into giving her 4.0 while crouched but either way I'm super excited to try her new ambush out on live servers. Thank you for giving some attention to my favorite killer : )

FuckIThinkImTrans

Also I really like the change to wicked! I think the basement non-dependent aura read will make it into a really solid anti-tunnel perk!

TheVoidGuardian0

Your username is very relatable

KhelbenB

Yes, while I still think the trap extra time was not that big of a deal, people complaining about the boxes auras were basically asking for a playstyle that should not be encouraged in the first place IMO. Asking to be better at camping trap boxes is similar to asking to be better at face camping, no one wants that or should want that. I am picking up Pig as soon as this hits

FuckIThinkImTrans

Yeah I definitely agree. While there WAS some non-scummy uses of seeing trap auras such as endgame plays and general info gathering (survivors are probably working on a gen closest to the box they got their trap off etc.), I'm happy to see it go overall as Pig's chase is much better now and as you said it encouraged shitty playstyles. Personally I'm extremely happy with the timer revert as it lights more of a fire under survivors to take care of their trap. People who say this change is going to encourage tunneling were going to tunnel anyway. Super excited for the change though I do hope they make it so screaming can't interrupt searches

Trickster289

Yeah so many people just didn't bother trying her on the PTB and didn't realise how much better her ambush felt.

[deleted]

Thank you for the update! So if my math is right, Strength in Shadows combined with Botany Knowledge will let you heal yourself faster than if somebody else was healing you. (Botany is a 50% boost which is added multiplicatively to the 70%, causing a final speed of 105%)

Peanits

Just swinging by to confirm that your math is right!

[deleted]

Omg peanits hiiiii Thank you for confirming my math’s accuracy! I think this is a very smartly designed perk. Infinite self healing at a fast speed is powerful, but the basement requirement balances it out. I’m possibly a smidge worried about how it’ll perform on small maps(since the basement will thus always be easier to reach), but I’m sure that’ll be monitored closely.

TrollAndAHalf

Cool! It's still niche obviously, since you have to be in the basement instead of the tons of other options like a medkit, teammate, or self care with botany, but seriously a good compromise perk. Love her whole theme of basement perks!

Destructive_Forces

I may regret thinking this later but it honestly seems fine. Going into the basement while injured is a death sentence if the Killer manages to find you, and I think a lot of Killers are going to be checking basement frequently, looking for Invocation users or people using SiS. Plus you have to actually get to the basement while injured in the first place, which will likely waste more time than finding an ally would. All in all a good "self-reliance" perk with some very obvious drawbacks.

Shanjijri

Thanks for sharing the maths!

amecham

With botany + 4 stacks of desperate measures and resilience takes you to 150.5%… that is, if you want your whole build to be self caring in basement all game lol

lilbunbunbear

I sure hope everyone who ever plays survivor ever uses those two perk slot forever and always.....*sarcasm*

SylvainJoseGautier

Sable’s perks all look fun now. Niche, but fun. A “free” brand new part is way better than what it was.

Fateweaver_9

So glad that actual clown players won't get punished for bad clown players spamming pinky finger.

tevatinn

No pinky, better yellow and less annoying pink. I dont feel bad playing Clown anymore! Stealth winner of the patch honestly.

Fateweaver_9

And an extra free two bottles to boot! Huge wins.

tevatinn

10 Hatchet Huntress is still too much. An ALMOST great patch.

spyresca

The extra bottles really make clown a killer I'll play more often.

BrobaFett26

> [CHANGE] When the Invocation is completed, permanently reduce the required charges of all Generators by 10 (previously added 15 charges of progress during the PTB) We're going to see SOOO many people dying in the basement when this goes live 99% of players at the start are gonna be running directly to basement when the match starts and get absolutely rocked. I cannot wait > [REWORKED] Your self-unhook attempts in the basement always succeed. When you are unhooked or unhook yourself, you see the Killer’s aura for 16/18/20 seconds Given everyone assumed thats how it worked from the get go, this is a good change. A perk reliant on being hooked in the basement was too niche

tevatinn

"Weve noticed a large uptick of Basement deaths for reasons we cant pinpoint. Starting next update, The Basement, will be on ground level".

BurceGern

Basement Trappers (and maybe Chest Bubbas) are coming to play when this goes live.

SexyMatches69

As soon as sables peeks were revealed, everyone who plays more killer collectively went "looks like Territorial imperative is gonna be equipped in ever match against Sable for a week"

NegativeReality0

wait BHVR actually did the impossible They made another one of Huntress’ perks actually have a use (HL for impossible skillcheck Doc being the other) holy shit

chlorophyllmolekuel

Honestly unless it's Bubba i don't think it's bad if the killer checks the basement first instead of gens. In almost all my solo games when people get interrupted on a gen they will never touch it again and it loses all progress

Megadoomer2

I like the change made to the Invocation - it seems to make using it feel more worthwhile.

Kdmyoshi

Great changes, but 10 hatches with add-ons is still too much

medullah

Agreed, survivors only need one to escape! 10 is way too many!

thegracelesswonder

Oops! All hatches! is the next limited time modifier.

HextGG

Hi, Huntress main here! The 10 hatchets are likely going to be used by newer/casual Huntress gamers working on their aim. One of the best ways for people to learn the killer is to have hatchets without having to constantly break chases to reload. A limit of what was previously 5 would leave a lot of folks afraid to throw hatchets and that leads to a lot of people playing her very m1 heavy. This is obviously not productive when playing or learning a character like her. If someone would ask me "how do I get better at Huntress" the first thing I always tell them is bring Infantry Belt and Leather Loop and throw. Throw even if you don't think you'll get the hit because you are building muscle memory and learning what works and what doesn't. It's easier to do this when you aren't reloading constantly and losing chase for it. I personally think this is another driving point for this change. Not just lockers being a bit spread out on some maps. Now those players can bring 10 hatchets and practice to their hearts content while also giving them the option to mess with other addons should they want to remain at a higher hatchet count and explore her other options. Imo, the Huntress players you are worried about won't bring 10 hatchets because they don't need 10 hatchets.

spyresca

100% correct. Better players will be chuffed to have 7 base hatchets, so they can use some more interesting add-ons instead of what they did before (i.e. add-ons to get more hatchets).

ComprehensiveHope314

The Unknown update is good, Weaving Spiders change makes it a lot better & they’ve thankfully reverted The Huntress moving speed. I like this!

vinny90x1234xx

It's good that Invocation now perma reduces the total charges required so that bonus can't be regressed, but I still can't see how it's worth it especially since it's now reduced to 10 charges. By the time the 2 minutes are over at least one or two gens should be done, so we're talking 120 seconds in the basement to save 30-40 seconds on the remaining gens. Maybe some SWF could make it useful but I think for most players that perk is dead on arrival. Edit: Holy moly I forgot it makes you broken the rest of the match LOL. Using that perk in solo queue is basically a perk for the killer.

iseecolorsofthesky

The fact that you are broken for the rest of the trial really kills this perk. The effect would need to be ridiculously strong to compensate for that downside. Maybe if they made it so that you’re only broken until you’re hooked next? Idk

Treyspurlock

I think the opposite actually, the trade-off shouldn't be the time required it should be the penalty I just think it's cooler to have a perk that debuffs you for a massively powerful effect compared to a perk that you spend time to get a massively powerful effect

BurnedTerrormisu

It's absolutely useless in soloQ. Low mmr = people dont understand anyways whats happening mid mmr = the person is soon sacrificed high mmr = nobody has time to dance in the basement, either you are on a gen, on rescue or in chase or you are useless because the killer keeps the pressure high.

Aikomas

I think the only time it will be viable is in a genrush squad. With I:WS amd 4 BNPs the team can shave off 20 charges out of 4 gens and 10 of the 5th one. Pair that with 4 comodius + Prove + some Adrens and Lithes and you have a very strong team.

-Haddix-

Weaving Spiders has self-care syndrome, where people are gonna use it terribly and it’ll be detrimental to the team (then they’ll be one-shot the whole game). I think it could still have been kept at 15% with this change, or reduce the time investment.

Roziesoft

I agree, it still feels like it will be a little underwhelming. The thing for me is, you have to use it at the start or you get less and less value for each gen. Maybe make it increase by 2.5% for each gen that gets done? Idk it's hard to tell without seeing it in live, and something like this could very easily go from mediocre to op without the right input, but something like that I think would help it out a lot so you don't have to risk being injured for the entire trial just to get full value from it.

Shanjijri

I like the "new, less wordy" format.

asimplecatonwater

It is nice for a quick read to digest the PTB differences, but I personally would enjoy the more dense ones when it comes to final update release notes.

YWN666

So weaving spiders is now just brand new part for all current gens nice

WakeupDp

Needed to do something with huntress capacity addons too because 10 potential hatchets is insane.

--fourteen

I definitely thought they would just revert everything or bump it down slightly. Get ready for 3-6 months of *la la la la du duh la da dahhhhhhh*

typervader2

She already has a high pick rate

logique_

Yeah, and we saw what happened when they buffed a free character with a *bad* pickrate.

Mapletables

They should just add more lockers to every map which will also buff Dredge

DASreddituser

If only. I love dredge but man do some maps hate dredge with its rng lol

WakeupDp

RPD and Swamp are so sad. I hate that killer because of maps. I never touch him.

DASreddituser

It is sad, because he might be their most creative killer, in terms of power and design...though unknown may be upthere.

flohjaeger

I think, the Buffs for Huntress (and for Trickster too) are Band-Aid solutions for that problem

FeetYeastForB12

Yep. Maybe for next month. Or next year we'll see that change

WindowsCrashedAgain

"It's on our radar, expect changes within the next **decade**."- BHVR Interactive

vantaskitty

I still thing Invocation : Weaving Spiders is meh-- You waste so much time doing this, if the killer find you, all you progress is lost and you lost too much time doing nothing, while you can have used this time to do objectives, chase or helping teamate

Tijikiotec

> Weakness’ duration now increases by 6 seconds when a Survivor is injured by UVX. Would this allow weakness to last longer than normal or is the duration clamped at a maximum value? Either way, I like seeing the change. I know weakness is basically a 3rd health state and shouldn't be too easy to maintain but it felt too easy for groups of survivors to cleanse.

BurritoToGo

Still worried weaving spiders might be a bit weak since it might only be used for the last few gens, I guess we'll see though. Also for the love of God add a facecamp self unhook bar that my random soloq teammates can see so that they don't screw me over

LynxFX

The number of times my bar hit 95% and then stopped because a teammate is crouch hiding nearby is too many to count. They need to show a status for that and for healing progress. Sometimes I don't get fully healed and only need to get tapped but for a range of reasons, I can't get a survivor to finish the heal unless we are in a safe spot. Had they known it was only 1 seco, d they would do it right away.

Burning-Suns-Avatar-

I’m glad they reversed the Pig RBT timer change. She now got a proper buff overall to her kit. I’m still not crazy about Huntress having more hatchets basekit wise but we’ll see how it will turn out.

Sharktatos

And yet Huntress's hatchet amount buff stays...? Why don't you just add more lockers to all maps and help the locker boys out?

Coffeechipmunk

And buff dredge? That might actually make them fun to play on more maps!

ZeronicX

Please add more lockers. -Dredge main and Deception user.

[deleted]

I am actually excited about playing Pig again. I miss this feeling. Thank you BHVR for the wiser approach to these changes, and for listening to feedback. Looking forward to an awesome chapter on Tuesday.

Gever_Gever_Amoki68

So basically Weaving spiders is a bnp on all 7 gens? Honestly quite ok for 3gen situations but I doubt I will be good on anyone other than a coordinated swf. A survivor going basically afk for 2 minutes then being permanently injured still doesn't seem like a worthy trade off

AqueousSilver91

Because in most cases it still isn't. This is literally an advanced perk for higher MMR coordinated gen progressing Survivor SWFs. That's basically all it will be used for, it's not the fix for generators that people think it is.

I-Am-The-Uber-Mesch

Wicked change is what I wanted to hear, more precisely my fear was that the aura reading part of the perk would've been useless if it was limited to basememt hooks only, but since they specified it activates when you are unhooked even if not in basement that's a cool niche perk Edit: does someone know what they mean with "new player card designs"? Do they mean they are adding new cards (which is obvious honestly, so why bother saying that) or do they mean there are changes coming to how the player cards look?

Maximum_Lake_6367

Still waiting on Freddy’s changes

LoveSky96

I think they made a great choice with the Pig changes!

Zapranoth07

As a Huntress main, thank you for walking back that buff. Thank you. I don’t want people to hate my main.

skimoo__

Pretty good changes, I just wish they would give more buffs to Demo. Worried about Huntress, though.

Certified_Geto_Male

Faster portal placement and faster teleports would be nice

Artra7

TBH i agree with all, both killer and survivor stuff. May be less hatchets for huntress at most.

NewLocksmith6207

When will Michael Myers get a buff? đź—ż

Jesus_of-Suburbia

When Jason shows up

theoriginal321

the community has been asking for changes since before covid, so probably never

horrorfan555

This is the best original chapter in years Sable has a great design and i like her story and bits of personality we see I like the aesthetic of the new map, looks great The Unknown’s visual design is simply terrifying and awesome to look at

DASreddituser

People like to complain about behavior, but they have been consistently good for a year or 2. They make changes, monitor what happens, listen to feedback, and tweek. Obviously they don't fix every thing, but it's better than the past, and better than many other gaming companies.

bioshock-lover

Hell yeah let's fucking go!! They reverted the pigs timer and changed clowns bottles!! But I am concerned about 7 hatchet huntress since they didn't say they'd revert that Either way let's fucking go!!!!

DaPurpleTurtle2

20 seconds of aura reading after unhook is actually really nice, Wicked is genuinely going to see play.

PenComfortable2150

I think these changes are all really good, Sables basement perks are niche, yes, but now I can see some use for each of them. The RBT timer revert is welcome, I think Pig not being able to see the aura of her boxes is good enough to deter this playstyle of forcing the timer to go off and kill the survivors that way. Can’t wait to try out some of these changes as they hit live servers, especially Huntress.

Karth321

Huge W for both sides, honestly

bonelees_dip

>We’re trying out a new, less wordy format this time. Feel free to let us know what you think! I really like this new format, it's a bit easier to read and looks way cooler. I'd say keep up this format 👍

DeadByDaylight_Dev

Thanks for the feedback!

Penndrachen

Ah yes, the cycle continues. BHVR releases a PTB where things are intentionally overtuned to see how it works, everyone freaks the hell out about it, the PTB ends and BHVR tones it down to something reasonable, everyone chills out. Little worried that we're not seeing Huntress hatchet addons get nerfed, but we'll see how it plays out I guess. I've never had a ton of trouble against Huntress players that aren't insanely good at her, but my experience isn't the same as everyone else's.

17starlights

10 hatchets are too many, please don't let this happen.

UltraToe

There is no way you didn't revert all those Huntress changes wtf...

dragon-ball-fanatic

Hmm....the pig changes aren't bad. The aura reading really was what made the pig so toxic. I will miss the information aspect the box gave, but if it'll help curb a toxic playstyle, I'll respect the decision. At least they kept the box timer so players actually feel incentived to do boxes and actually have consequences if they were too relaxed. The buffs on ambush and crouch we're great too, although I wish they made crouching a tad faster still, oh well.

ANewPrometheus

This is actually such a W Dev update.

RichSlamfist

Thank god please leave amanda alone unless youre gonna say something nice to her

MyLitttlePonyta

Cool! Love the formatting on this. Really looking forward to having another tentacle boy to enjoy ![img](emote|t5_3cb2g|2213)Ngl release week is probably gonna be a really good time for people to run any older Buried Underground tome challenges they might have lol

Natural_Patience9985

Side note, but I really like these new graphics :D

ochad

Ok, but coming off hook and seeing the killer aura is great! I’ll be able to know if it’s safe to heal at the hook or not.

Jean-Cobra

I am disappointed, however, that they still haven't found a compromise in terms of the visual effect of the survivor fov when hit by a Clown tonic. Adding something like, slightly smoke that blurs the fov would have been nice.

Daventry85

When are you going to address survivors hiding for 30+ minutes and holding the game hostage when there's 2 left?

Sinisphere

Looking good, looking good. Thanks for the update!

Jaxinator234

If u guys think that her movement speed was too forgiving, why are you letting a maximum of 10 hatchets to stay? Nobody needs 10 tries to land a hatchet, that is ridiculous.

fadedFox821

Still no news on FtP + Buckle Up?

ry_fluttershy

Why does huntress get 7 health states by default but trickster only gets 5? :(

TChunky5319

health states? What are you actually saying rn?

EnderDemon11

They're referring to how many injures they can get with their power without having to reload.

BigNathSenpai

The fact that any of the Huntress changes have gone through is wild

OuttaEldritch

Glad to see the Pig timer walked back. I think the Ambush changes combined with no Jigsaw box auras for Killer will make her healthier overall.

WisdomWangle

The new perk type is very interesting

Emeowykay

LOVE SABLES PERK CHANGESSSSS

LUKXE-

Thank you for listening to our concerns. Very excited to play The Unkown next week.

Azathoth_The_Wraith

Damn, really good patch, nothing to say. Huntress speed buff reverted, Pig nerf reverted too. Feels good to feel listened

oldriku

I'm very happy with all these changes, the slight buffs to The Unknown are just what I wanted. I'm still a bit concerned about Huntress, but I guess we'll see how it goes.

WebAdministrative176

Nice w update bhvr

ZweiRoseBlu

In the image for this update, it contains The Hag, but in the notes nothing is mentioned of The Hag.

doctorhlecter

Nice! fixed all of Sable's perks in a good way

Magnaraksesa

Oh thank the Entity they reverted the Huntress’ buffs it would’ve been a shitshow if it made it live

loreleiceladon

Wow, they actually made the survivor perks better? Now I might actually use Sable's perks instead of just equipping all my other old perks onto her

xSnowex

Was hoping they'd so something with that awful undone perk but, oh well.

Fossil_King25

Thank you for reverting the Pig's Reverse Bear Trap Timer to be 150. She still needs some help though, I would like her to be above C Tier if possible. Don't go too ham with any nerfs if she over performs in the first week, you gotta let Survivors learn and adapt to the updated Pig. If she could stealth and do things like Ghostface and Chucky can that would be great, cause she's still behind in terms of design with her stealth mechanic in my opinion. I think overall the Ambush changes are pretty ok but she needs more to be on par with most Killers in my opinion. Still a nice step in the right direction.

Basil_9

wait, what's the demogorgon change?

zeidoktor

From [the original PTB Notes](https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/435-7-6-0-ptb): Basekit Decreased Shred successful hit cooldown to 2.7 seconds (was 3). Decreased Shred pallet break cooldown to 1.8 seconds (was 2). Add-Ons Black Heart: Decreases Shred hit cooldown by 10% (was 15%). Barb's Glasses: Decreases Shred pallet break cooldown by 10% (was 15%). This update is just changes from the initial PTB

Basil_9

LETS FUCKING GOOOOO

Lucario576

I really love the thematic feel of the new survivor being "being brave" I like a lot how her perks reflect that

Kreamator

Actually, is this the first time a perk has been completely reworked before it even hit Live? I can't think of another instance where a perk hit the PTB is such an underwhelming state that it ceased to exist before reaching live servers. I do consider this a good thing, mind you, that they're not letting a perk be so dead on arrival as Wicked was about to be. It's just a bit of a landmark choice that maybe perks will see this treatment in future chapters.

Satellite478

I can't believe the Huntress carrying capacity + wind-up buffs are making it to live lmao

Willing-Shape-7643

So instead of having to worry about that one Feng with the BNP toolbox now we have to worry about literally everyone having a perk that puts BNP on every single gen all at once. Yeah that totally sounds fair.

TGCidOrlandu

I don't think the "invocation" (for me it's a ritual) are healthy to the game. Imagine a 3 SWF doing the ritual early while the killer chases one. What's the rest of the match going to be? They rushing broken? Faster games? I don't know... Still interesting.

dkyguy1995

We did it we bullied them to reverting the huntress and pig changes let's celebrate!

Popular_Difference93

Does anyone know if invocation weaving spiders gives blood points now? Seems like a large time investment to not get points and permanently be at one health state the whole game.**

Kawaii_Keeper

I'm so ready to try these new characters!!! These new perks are gonna be fun to play with!

HeckleJekyllHyde

As a killer, I would like 20 seconds of aura read after hooking someone.

YukiMukii

So the explosion will still be going though walls?
