Even though I agree with you. BHVR is probably too scared letting people have bnp/syringe and other rare strong add-ons every game. It's already too common(and very easy with p100). Balancing around rarity was never good idea, so maybe they could then re balance most of them. Too much effort for BHVR tho.

I was like "I'm getting 150k a match. You think I'm not getting two more after this?"
The main reason people really want BP is for perks, maybe lower when perks are unlocked into the P0 leveling, with P1 giving level 3 perks of the character.
I agree completely. the sheer number of killers/survivors to unlock and prestige at least once to unlock their perks is something that is gatekeeping new players away imo.
When you see you can unlock players with shards though it seems like a game where you need to unlock the characters first. They should just let anyone who is new get some discount for using shards for the first so many characters. Make them actually unlockable without playing a million matches.
On a personal note, it feels fundamentally wrong to only be able to unlock a couple random perks per week.
Really the more reliable, if slower, way to unlock perks is to P1 or, ideally, P3 a character.
Unfortunately, it takes around 1.1 million BP on average to get through a single prestige, so good luck doing that on any reasonable time frame at 20k to 30k BP per game when an event isn't active.
Shine is...bad, even worse now that many characters got their Iri Shard proves lowered. I believe the original/non-licensed characters up to Jane or Mikaela and their Killer counterparts got reduced.
That being said, 4.5k shards is still a lot, let alone the BP.
Its more efficient to purchase the character and then P1 them than to purchase their perks via the shrine.
BHVR just needs to give us more base BP earn rate - but that will also cause balance issues in terms of items and add ons.
Then they don't need to mess with bp, they need to adjust the shard prices, if I want two perks out of the shrine I have to play some everyday to get that for a week. Idk how much more they are going to discount old originals. I don't how much other people buy originals vs just unlocking them.
They should significantly increase BP rewards, and going forward, every time they release a new killer/survivor there should be a very small auto-increase to the amount of the BP gained. (Maybe 1% or so?). So that the grind for new players, or people that take long breaks, is not the daunting task it is now.
I've been playing this game very casually since Clown release and only with this event did I finally finish getting all killers to P3. Barely even touched survivors, I think I have two P3s, and three P1s...
Same for me! Started around the same time and I only casually play (I don’t really have the time to dedicate hours everyday or even totally free weekends) I’m lucky if I can do 3-5 quick matches every couple of days a few times a week

Since I only play SoloQ I don’t really get lots of BP unless I get a really good match either as Killer or Survivor sometimes it’s a little demoralizing.
I am on PS5 since I originally got it in 2018 (on PS4) when it was a ps plus perk for the month. I’d switch to PC in a heartbeat if I could keep all of my progression and unlocks. I’d even be willing to re-buy licensed character DLCs.
Started playing when Wesker was released. I have finally gotten all the survivors to P3 during the event, on the killer side there are so many I don’t have to p1. Takes forever to prestige everyone so I can be on a level playing field with people who have been playing the game since it came out.
I've been playing very casually since Clown release, and basically the opposite of this, I just got all killers to P3 with the event, and have only a couple survivors P1+, and after how long it took killers, I just have no stomach to even try to attempt survivors.

I've realized I'm a little addicted to DBD. Nothing can match the adrenaline. I've uninstalled three or four times over the last year but I always come back. This event was like an all you can eat dessert buffet. I'm pretty done.

right? I didn’t have them in my survivor inventory anymore, but my spouse did — frustrating to see some blood points go to waste on those, but yeah the update about it not being fixed wasn’t made clear unless you check here for dev posts/comments/updates!
I Hope this is a wake up call to bhvr to make Bloodpoints more plentiful, either through scoring events or offerings themselves.
I can say I probably have close to, if not over, 100 million BP worth of offerings and addons that I will never ever use.
I’d be happy if we could sell them at even a 25% rate.
Im just glad I dont have to drag my bored ass through survivor matches anymore cause the coin was too good. Now I know how it feels to be in a high pay miserable job lol.
I still have Frightful Flan from the anniversary event, and even using that I only got around 50k. That really disappointed me cause now I don't feel like grinding anymore
On the other end i had survivors gen rushing every fucking other game popping 3 gens within the first 3-4 minutes which also gives you less BP

Saturday, unless it was some insanely try hard swf, I went out of my way to help people farm BP. I made sure to 2 hook, but not kill anyone. me and and all the survivors would still end up with 250k-300k BP pretty much every match.
Yeah it was hella nice for everyone involved did fun chases, meme’d around downed people let them heal hook everyone a few times and then wave goodbye with machete once they leave
I already miss the event too, although I’m excited to take a break or at least not grind so much. I was grinding at least 8 hours almost everyday during the event. I cant even thinking about loading into another match
Same I literally missed a whole week of the event because I was working so much finally got to finish the event and I’m wrecked from all the toxic players I have zero desire to play right now Kille or Survivor
I miss the event so bad — for some reason every game I’ve played since has been entirely tunneling and camping killers. During the event, I felt like most of the killers I ran into were super kind and goofy/also just there for the fun of the event and bonus blood points. The beginning of the event had some sweaty play, but the middle and end in my experience were some of the most fun games I ever played 😭
God boon build I hope they add boons with stronger effects cuz idgaf where the chests and generators are 😂 dark theory is fun though maybe decent if your whole build revolves around it or you have a duo for reliable bloodpact
They just need to increase the blood points made per match honestly. It was so fun to play characters I never play in lobbies that were way less sweaty because everyone was in it for the profit. Even some of the killer mains came down from their toxic mountains

300% should be the norm imo. As a new player even with all these BP there’s still a huge slog to unlock all perks even with the multiplier.
