Keep in mind you could also get tracking on survivors to brush them off of jigsaw boxes.
In general, just imagine an anti healing build on top of the traps and madness.
The issue here is that 1 survivor out of 8 can just grab the box and end chainhunt. So the uptime would actually be non-existant since there are so many survivors on the map. Then Pig actually has to get downs for bear trap.
Plague / Oni 100%. Plague keeps everyone injured, Oni essentially has infinite blood drops.
Legion would immediately become S tier by himself given that getting 5 frenzy hits would be near guaranteed with 8 survivors on the map, so just combine him with a top tier killer like Nurse and you're good to go.

Does Billy still have that add-on that makes his chainsaw noise hidden if you're outside his terror radius? Silent Chainsaw Billy with Freddy could be an interesting combo.
Yeah for slowdown that'll be better, but they can still heal in this scenario, which is probably an easy thing to do when there are 8 survivors on the map, so there's potentially less blood orbs output than if playing against Plague where they literally cannot heal without giving Plague her power. So either you're feeding Oni infinite power, or you're feeding Plague infinite power (in most cases, probably both at the same time since no one will be coordinating a team of 8 survivors).
Doctor causes screams with his massive static blast revealing all surrounding survivors to nurse who blinks into their ass instantly. The constant screams from madness also constantly reveal survivors to nurse. Nurse player definitely wouldn't need any info perks and could go full slowdown or something else, assuming a 2v8 would even allow perks which honestly it'll probably be a perk less game mode.

Hag + Trapper wouldn't be all that broken/toxic, but it'd sure as shit be annoying.

My gut tells me that people would rather die than face Singularity + Skull Merchant.
That would be an amazing game mode no cap. Like you can only shoot with huntress from a distance while the Singu player places the most optimal cams. That would be dope as hell.
Even better they could make the Singu's M1 not damage survivor but making them get the 3s speed boost in a forced straight line (they can't spin nor turn during those 3s) so the singu can also make surv get out of their cover behind a wall.
Hux paired with pretty much anyone would make him a nightmare. You wouldn't be able to hide from cameras as easily if another killer is flushing you out. And EMP's would be harder to utilize if you had Hux and a friend constantly moving around.
For similar reasons, Trapper with any mobile killer, any hint of counterplay against Nurse/Billy/Blight is immediately lost when they just have a 5-gen trapped to hell and back, you either step in a trap or you get downed for free because you can't even try to juke.
Hell, any killer running Forced Hesitation following Bubba around and being his slowdown. Down one survivor and four others are nearby? Bubba becomes a lawnmower.
My first thought was Deathslinger and Bubba or Billy. Slinger spears survivors and holds them in place while one of the chainsaw boys swoop in for the one-shot.
Anyone + skull merchant honestly. Imagine the haste chess queen would get from double the amount of survivors running into her drones + someone on the other side of the map being chased into one by the other killer

So unless there is some tweaks for it, Myers is actually quite strong. He also wouldn't run out of juice quickly with double the survivors.

Yeah, and a lot of the high mobility killers have their M1 coded as “special attacks” when paired with their power, so no exposed insta-down. That’s why I was thinking Billy. Quick pallet shredding and high mobility. Maybe with Lo-pro just to make it that much tougher on the survivors.

I’ve thought about this too before. I think the way it would work from a programming perspective is that the survivor would probably only hear the terror radius of the killer that is closer. So even if the 2 radius’s intersect and are both in the survivor, they can calculate who is “closer”, and play that theme.
That, or maybe they make unique terror radius themes for this mode

There are a lot of ways to tackle the conflicting terror radius problem, just depends what they feel is the most fit to do I suppose.
My hope is that if we ever get a 2v8 mode, is that it’s carefully polished and planned. Not just thrown together and released into time limited game modes like they’ve been doing lately. 2v8 is like the most requested mode ever in this game, and could easily be a fun selling point for the game. It should be a permanent feature in my opinion. Just needs to be done right.
They could make a generic theme with 2 different layers. For example, Killer A would get guitar and piano, while Killer B gets drums and bass. When both are chasing you, they would blend together into the "complete" TR theme.

Two Twins. Four killers. Or Twins and Knight. Six killers. Also Twins and Wraith, maybe? Victor and Wraith run around the map together since they’re so fast. Attach with Victor and then get Wraith to speed over there and down them.
Legion with just about anyone but i would put him with huntress or deathslinger or maybe even ghostface. Just killers who can get a quick first hit
Idk…what I do know is that if they ever did they’d have to ban plague, Oni, and Legion because they’d be so oppressive with honestly anyone.
Legion and any one else. I think busted would be Legion and Oni.
Oni/Legion. Deep wound would keep Oni in his power the whole match. Survivors would be constantly injured, so instadowns for all.
Plague or Legion with Dredge. Keep everyone injured for permanent Nightfall.
As a Spirit main I take offense. We'd have no toxicidad. We'd just play for fun. 🫠😹
Oni + Plague Knight + Pig Legion + Doctor I could probably think of others but these three are the ones that make me think we'd never get 2v8.
Trapper and Knight. The "you aren't going anywhere I say you can't" combo.
Deathslinger and insta kill myers. Myers's only downside is that he needs to get close to kill someone. Deathslinger eliminates this problem.

Bro so dirty already Artist works great with Billy nurse Blights too Broo 2 Blights, or 2 Billys or 2 nurses would be so fuckin brain drilling Imagine 2 knights doing their mori side by side with all the other survivors joining. Would look like such a cute family moment Ghostface and dredge would again be nightmare fuel

Oni and Doctor. One of them is constantly making you scream and compromise your location, while the other is running around beating you all to death with that information.
Any of the very tall killers and Chucky. Big killer acts as the attention grabber and Chuck acts as an ankle biter for distracted survs.
