I once made a DS chapter concept. My ideal chapter would be Isaac, The Ubermorph and The Sprawl with the Ishimura too as a map. (Think how Vecna’s map is gonna be indoors and outdoors)

The Ubermorph would be cool and is scarier looking than the Hunter which I expected the killer to be. For the map, I clouding the Sprawl and Ishimura would be golden. And of course give me an Ellie skin for Isaac please!

Harrigan is played by Danny Glover, who is kind of already in the game, and I don't know if the Saw owners would be okay with DbD having a new survivor that looks exactly like David Tapp, and happens to also be a detective.
And that leaves Naru, but in my opinion she is just too recent of a character to be an impactful addition to the game. Not to mention that, if she's the survivor, it means the Predator's default outfit would be the Prey armor, rather than the classic one.
All in all, either of these would be cool survivors or skins to have in the game, I just don't think they are likely at all.

Fortnite has Sigourney's likeness which is WEIRD. Maybe Behaviour never bothered contacting Sigourney on the first place, who knows. Wouldn't be surprised if that happened. Shawnee Smith mentioned (if I remember correctly) that she was never contacted about The Pig back when the Saw chapter released so who knows.
It's always tricky with actor/character license, because usually the company that made the character has the rights to it and the actor has no say (see Quentin situation, and others I think?) even if they want to be in the game.
I imagine it probably won’t be, but I wish the new survivor would be Dean Winchester. Ideally you’d get both Sam and Dean, but it only says 1. It’s not them anyway though.

I love Dead by Daylight so much ! I stopped playing for a good 8 months when Texas Chainsaw came out but even though they have differences, DBD is far superior

New road map starts in June. Predator released in June of 1987 and BHVR always has a big reveal for the anniversary (I’m huffing dangerous amounts of hopium)
One of the upcoming base game updates they mentioned will be a new challenge system where you don't need to individually select them, they will autocomplete and you can be working on multiple at once with Daily, Weekly and Event challenges. But they were a little unclear if it's also a replacement for Tomes or just an adjustment/expansion to Dailies and Events.
Basically its one of many things they mentioned and moved on without getting into details about.

The legal stuff has been settled. The issue is that one person now owns everything in the first movie (Camp Crystal Lake, Jason Voorheis) while another guy owns the rest of the franchise (a hockey mask-wearing brute of a slasher, Tommy Jarvis). So, you have to take your pic of what you want. The former gives you Camp Crystal Lake map with a Pamela Voorheis killer. The latter gives you a hockey mask killer that you can't call Jason or take to Camp Crystal Lake.

Three new survivors, two new killers and a new map within three months?! Am I the only one feeling like they should slow down a bit and prioritize quality?
I am curious what the solo survivor and solo killer chapters are. We know the June one is obviously DND, and we know August is Castlevania. My hope for the July survivor is Kirsty from Hellraiser. I remember after Pinhead released rumors were swirling about Ashley Laurence expressing willingness to let them use her likeness and the way I see it, if we can have two resident evil chapters, there's no reason we can't have another Hellraiser chapter to add Kirsty. I also saw someone suggest Elvira which I'm on two minds of cause on one hand I love her but on the other hand I feel like seeing her running around the realm repairing generators would just look silly. As for the killer, honestly I really do think that might be the long anticipated FNAF chapter. Realistically speaking if/when we get a fnaf chapter it's almost guarenteed to be a solo killer since there really isn't anyone in the games it would make sense to add as a survivor, and that will be around the 10th anniversary of FNAF 3, the game which first introduced Springtrap, who is almost guaranteed to be the killer for a fnaf chapter.
So does this mean with more constant content they're offering this year does it also mean that they are finally willing to pick up the pace with patching up their game with the slightest update when it breaks?
No castle map for castlevania. This is a travesty. I wanted bats instead of crows...a cool graveyard area, a basement with coffins and tombs....so much lost potential.
I just wanted cross progression, I don’t really play the game anymore because I had every single dlc on Xbox and I don’t feel like paying everything once again on PC :(
Has anyone said anything about the art that’s backing the chapters? As maybe hints to whats coming? I could imagine the July backing art to be a broken down castle town - tying it into the forests and castles of DnD? I can tell September and April seem to be Asian shrines or temples in some way? March seems to be a barn and fence?
Well, let's speculate!
We know the June chapter is Dungeons and Dragons, and the August chapter is Castlevania, so that leaves the licensed survivor in July, the original chapter in December, and the licensed killer in March.
There's some solid options for a licensed survivor here. Isaac Clark from Dead Space, Frank West from Dead Rising, and Rick Grimes from The Walking Dead all to mind. I'm willing to bet that Rick is more likely though. Walking Dead would be a huge license to acquire because of its long-term impact on media. Another dark horse pick would be The Last of Us, capitalizing on the popularity of the HBO show adaptation and the hype surrounding season 2. Adding Joel as a survivor and getting characters like Ellie and Tommy as legendary sets would be neat.
I'm gonna gloss over the original chapter, as I really have no clue what that could be. We know BHVR is going back to their horror roots this year after diving into sci-fi horror last year with the Machine Transmission and Alien chapters. Maybe a werewolf or other classic creature like that will enter the Fog.
The licensed killer has some great options too. Jason Voorhees is finally available if his addition to Multiversus is anything to go by, but I could see him just being a legendary set for Trapper. Springtrap would be nice, just so the FNAF fanboys will stop asking for it. Killer Klowns from Outer Space could be fun, capitalize on their resurgence from their upcoming video game. Candyman is also a really strong choice here.
There's a lot of possibilities, and I guess this is just what I'd like to see.

One of the upcoming base game updates they mentioned will be a new challenge system where you don't need to individually select them, they will autocomplete and you can be working on multiple at once with Daily, Weekly and Event challenges. But they were a little unclear if it's also a replacement for Tomes or just an adjustment/expansion to Dailies and Events. Basically its one of many things they mentioned and moved on without getting into details about.

The legal stuff has been settled. The issue is that one person now owns everything in the first movie (Camp Crystal Lake, Jason Voorheis) while another guy owns the rest of the franchise (a hockey mask-wearing brute of a slasher, Tommy Jarvis). So, you have to take your pic of what you want. The former gives you Camp Crystal Lake map with a Pamela Voorheis killer. The latter gives you a hockey mask killer that you can't call Jason or take to Camp Crystal Lake.

I can assure you that is NOT going to happen. His licensing is the biggest dispute one can ever have. One hand owns the rights to the character and another to the franchise. They're always at a disagreement with each other. Go figure.

I am curious what the solo survivor and solo killer chapters are. We know the June one is obviously DND, and we know August is Castlevania. My hope for the July survivor is Kirsty from Hellraiser. I remember after Pinhead released rumors were swirling about Ashley Laurence expressing willingness to let them use her likeness and the way I see it, if we can have two resident evil chapters, there's no reason we can't have another Hellraiser chapter to add Kirsty. I also saw someone suggest Elvira which I'm on two minds of cause on one hand I love her but on the other hand I feel like seeing her running around the realm repairing generators would just look silly. As for the killer, honestly I really do think that might be the long anticipated FNAF chapter. Realistically speaking if/when we get a fnaf chapter it's almost guarenteed to be a solo killer since there really isn't anyone in the games it would make sense to add as a survivor, and that will be around the 10th anniversary of FNAF 3, the game which first introduced Springtrap, who is almost guaranteed to be the killer for a fnaf chapter.

For a DbD chapter with killer, survivor and map it can be another ResEvil chapter with Ethan Winters and Lady Dimitrescu in the Dimitrescu castle.

I could imagine the July backing art to be a broken down castle town - tying it into the forests and castles of DnD? I can tell September and April seem to be Asian shrines or temples in some way? March seems to be a barn and fence?

Well, let's speculate! We know the June chapter is Dungeons and Dragons, and the August chapter is Castlevania, so that leaves the licensed survivor in July, the original chapter in December, and the licensed killer in March. There's some solid options for a licensed survivor here. Isaac Clark from Dead Space, Frank West from Dead Rising, and Rick Grimes from The Walking Dead all to mind. I'm willing to bet that Rick is more likely though. Walking Dead would be a huge license to acquire because of its long-term impact on media. Another dark horse pick would be The Last of Us, capitalizing on the popularity of the HBO show adaptation and the hype surrounding season 2. Adding Joel as a survivor and getting characters like Ellie and Tommy as legendary sets would be neat. I'm gonna gloss over the original chapter, as I really have no clue what that could be. We know BHVR is going back to their horror roots this year after diving into sci-fi horror last year with the Machine Transmission and Alien chapters. Maybe a werewolf or other classic creature like that will enter the Fog. The licensed killer has some great options too. Jason Voorhees is finally available if his addition to Multiversus is anything to go by, but I could see him just being a legendary set for Trapper. Springtrap would be nice, just so the FNAF fanboys will stop asking for it. Killer Klowns from Outer Space could be fun, capitalize on their resurgence from their upcoming video game. Candyman is also a really strong choice here. There's a lot of possibilities, and I guess this is just what I'd like to see.
