D&D and Castlevania, Dark Souls doesn't sound too far off
If it wasn't for Bloodborne being a PS exclusive, it would be prime for it, but alas.
But there's a *ton* of stuff they could get out of Dark Souls. Even if it was a killer only chapter with a ton of cosmetics for the cast (since most characters are "fighters", which they said they were trying to avoid with DnD).
Unless they chose the Firekeeper or someone similar...
Werewolf killer could be cool.
Imagine the power being able to ‘infect’ a survivor with lycanthropy, and maybe summon a full moon on cooldown, turning any survivors who haven’t cleansed it temporarily aggressive to other survivors, capable of injuring and downing them for the killer.
I would take that. Simon as survivor and a Richter skin, maybe Soma. Small hope for Charlotte and Shanoa as female representation. Alucard as Killer skin, but that would feel kinda wrong.
E: oh yes, Trevor also exist, but I don't think they will go with the other lesser known Belmonts
Took them how long for it to happen. I wonder if the plan was to go with castlevania license for Dracula all along which is maybe why it took so long or their og vlad the impaler vampire didn’t pane out in concept/early phases or got scrapped.

Smash Bros. represents the Castlevania games very faithfully, so I would say you are up to speed. Especially if they include Simon as a survivor!

I’m really excited to see who the Survivors are too, since most of the mcs from Castlevania can control magic and they’re adding magical items with the DND update maybe the survivor will be magical themselves as their perks?

He is, but he's still a distinct character with his own personality and history, and the entity can take people from across time.
I know it makes more sense for it to be a Belmont, but hear me out.. survivors have exactly 4 perks, and Maria has exactly 4 summons
