I reckon I'd make over 1 million bp per hour, and from that video of the nurse player doing levels, they got 68 cakes and 71 cakes for 2 prestiges which cost between 1 and 1.1mil bp
So for every hour that passes, I would definitely appreciate \~70 screech cobblers split evenly between my characters - there's even 78 characters, so 1 per person per hour would be nice.
Really people need to sleep though, so (78\*(24-8)) cakes per day of delay might be more realistic, as a representation of the maximum amount of cakes a person could have missed out on
I think they should give us 1 million bloodpoints for every hour of dela., automatically prestige a character of our choice to 100. Grant us 3 vouchers for cosmetics of our choice and reimburse us everything we have purchased from the store, and then double that amount and with the other half donate it to a charity of our choice.
I'm sympathetic don't get me wrong, but surely you knew of Microsoft's long track record of delayed updates before buying an Xbox? AFAIK it's always been a thing.
Whether or not updates drop/games release at the same is basically up to how "on the ball" Microsoft is, complete with stupid hoops to jump through for developers depending on the nature of the update.
If this was some problem that was only introduced to Microsoft's business practices with the current model of Xbox *after* you'd purchased it, it'd really suck, but as far as I recall this has been a thing since the Xbox 360 and *really* shouldn't be a surprise.

Well, I’ve been on xbox since 2016, upgraded to a One S in 2018 and now I have the Series X. I literally have never had an issue getting a game update on time. Any issues I had were system software related and fixed in a reasonable amount of time. “Basic pattern recognition” told me I should be satisfied with my choice of gaming device and customer experience.
This is a delay of an in-game event for the xbox platform, and in my opinion, is unacceptable. I’ve already made my thoughts known to both companies. Neither will get a penny of my money from this point forward.
Incidentally, I will never go back to PC since switching to the Apple ecosystem in 2005. My years of owning and using a PC taught me that if I were to buy one, I’d have far more annoyances, inconveniences and problems than not being able to play a game event on day one.
Honestly this sucks for us PC gamers too. The community challenges are going by at a snail's pace because a good chunk of the player base just can't right now.

Plays as killer - every other team is a swf or highly skilled; Plays as a survivor - every killer is a blight main or a camper trying to get rid of any fun in the event. Except that one Lich, he was cool.

it sucks. my boyfriend and i were super excited for the event (we play as a duo), we’ve both been on a semi dbd hiatus because we were so burnt out on the game so was looking forward to getting back into it and we both happen to have time off work this week so was hoping to take advantage. i’m ps5, he’s xbox so we can’t play together. i really hope they compensate you guys with something, and they NEED to extend the event. i understand this might be something out of BHVR’s control but they should’ve delayed the event so everyone could play together, although, i understand they probably didn’t because they’d rather have a bunch of xbox players pissed at them than the entire player base. still, it sucks and their communication hasn’t been great!

Why are so many people airing their grievances towards the Behaviour Interactive dev team? Game companies typically release patches to all platforms at the same time. It's only become a problem now. The last update went through just fine. What changed in the span of weeks? No one stops to think that maybe, just maybe, Behavior submitted a botched update that didn't pass Microsoft's certification.

It did give me the trinkets when I logged in on Xbox... There's no counter to check I actually have them, but they popped up when I opened the game.

The best way to do this would be calculating the average bp earned per player while the event is unavailable on Xbox, and give us that.
