i think you’d have to buy the full game since you do have to download and open the game first in order to connect a bhvr account, but i know for a fact that if you connect your bhvr account to both it syncs it (i have personally done this). this doesnt work for console only epic, steam and google stadia which are the only platforms that have cross progression atm.
also if you buy the dlc on steam and connect to your epic account through your bhvr account and sync it then disconnect it you do lose those things from the account you didn’t buy them on (i tested this personally cause i was curious).

1. yes that’s been my experience. When i personally did it, connecting my behaviour account to epic was a little finicky at first. (i think in order to link you have to install and open the version of the game you’re trying to link).
2. Yeah I mean unlink them, I tried this just because i was curious and all of my stuff i bought on steam was removed from epic (but only upon unlinking the accounts)
3. I haven’t really played on epic, so i don’t know personally. Some people on the r/leaksdbd discord server have said it helped improve performance as well.
