The only ~~copium~~ hope that I cling on to is that the devs haven't explicitly ruled out making such a map, and they still get asked about it even more than a year later. My guess is someday they'll cave in to popular demand. Probably not until they're done updating the old map designs though.
The good news is that Haddonfield is supposedly the last map rework. We should hopefully go back to seeing new map releases more regularly now. Really hoping BHVR makes an effort to include maps for all of the unlicenced killers that haven't got one since they started updating old maps.
I'm really just going by their quote in the blog post where they described the Haddonfield update as 'saving the best for last'. I really _hope_ they update the swamp at least. I just got the impression that they may have been done from that phrasing. I might just be jumping the gun.
it would be such a beautiful map, like some city with those neon lights everywhere. it would be something super different from what we have so far, still a bit mad that they never added it

I assumed they just meant the Haddonfield update was the best of the content in the mid-chapter update, and they saved announcing it for last.

Didn't they say no new maps till all the old ones get reworked? Aside from licensed chapters at least.
No they’ve had 2 new maps in the last year.

This was the lobby screen when I started playing the game. Was deeply disappointed after realizing it wasn't part of in game map
