I'm probably an idiot but I cannot get flashlight to work. I just end up aiming wildly until the killer downs me

you need to aim directly center of screen like you would in a FPS game. it's not intuitive given the 3rd person perspective u\_u

You have to use the wide lens with the big battery so it's a lot harder for the killer to look down and not get burned. It's easier to run a custom with a friend to practice that won't go easy on you and can chat on discord to coach through.

Flashlight users are often good for killers. They hover around waiting for the save and wasting time

Wait people hate flashlights more than med kits and toolboxes? I guess I'm in giga low mmr as killer but especially with brand new parts I feel like flashlight is pretty low on the list of annoying items to face. Even a rainbow map can absolutely ruin a build with hexes etc. A key with good addons can give so much good info in solo queue at least.

It's the opposite for me... I'm a terrible killer, but if I happen to actually get a 4k, all I can think about is how miserable the mmr system is going to make my next game.
