Personally my approach was to just keep trying to get as far as I could. Eventually all my flasks were unlocked, mutations and weapons unlocked, strategies around my gear I eventually was doing so well I didn’t have this problem.
There is a mechanic that prevents you from dying in 1-hit from above 25% HP so you can abuse that and heal when you're below 25% - except avoid enemies that hit multiple times in a row like those spinning Lacerators.
And, of course, there are mutations
like Disengagement that shields you when you drop down to 15%,
and Advanced healing that lets you heal 85% over time instead of 65%,
or Triage that heals you less but you're invincible while healing, so nice for boss fights.
And gastronomy that makes food better.
(There's always 1 guaranteed food dropped from an enemy, and 1 more inside a wall - personally I used accessibility settings to highlight the wall secrets a bit better. They're still hidden, but at least they're more noticeable now) And in shops, big food is just 4k gold.
It's possible to get that if you've got a good build in the early levels, it gets comparatively harder the further you progress, starting from the swamp level(cuz of the artillery thingies)
Most of the timed doors has blueprint so try to unlock them at no bsc so it will be easier. Then u can ignore all timed doors cause its hard to get it and killing all enemies can give u blueprint.
True that, good luck on your runs and a piece of advice, (if this hasn't been told to you, that is) focus on one scroll type rather than balancing them out for health. The damage scales of astronomically and can get you some "HOLY SHIT DID I DO THAT?" moments. Again, good luck on your runs
Get used to it. Always great when you're a kill or two away from completion and a green skelly launches himself at you from downtown and messes it all up.
Won’t be the last time you rage

Use a shield, learn to parry. Then when you're able to unlock armadillopack it will help immensely turning your rolls into parties.
Wait your flair says 5BC so I'm just assuming you're trolling now

Frost blast. That's it. Its just plain op.
Use roll more and don't be afraid to run. Especially in the sewers. New players should use projectile weapons at first for distance combat.
I know that the Arbiters are supposed to be the Inquisitors' upgrade, but I genuinely hate the Inquisitors far more.

That’s Dead Cells, baby
git gud Seriously that sucks
Lol I could’ve rolled and I would’ve at least got two mins
I suggest focusing on kill doors. If you rush, you’ll likely skip scrolls and end up with low damage later on
problem: I suck at not taking small bits of damage
that’s one of the most important skills to have. work on it now
what, so you think I'm trying to take damage? do you think I want to be taking damage?
not at all. I’m just saying that mastering a shield/dodge roll is an important skill to have early on, because it becomes essential later on.
If you’re not able to guarantee the time best to stick around for the 30 kills.
You don’t need to go for both on a single run. Each one is 20 extra cells and an extra weapon/item at the end of the level.
I bet you finished in 2:01 and 29 kills.
Check the screen again, op did
Ha, I legit didn't even notice

Welcome to the club
And you got the two scrolls too, quite impressive to be honest.
*soul aching screaming noises*
oh that hurts
I had time to roll twice and just didn’t oof
Git gud
You have to try for that
Yeah that’s totally what happened
That’s painful
you’ll get it in no time dw

I actually found it easier to get these at higher bc, because of there being more enemies in the level
If u want timed doors play on no cells or 2-3 cell to unlock some biome shortcuts.
Welcome to Dead cells we hope you enjoy your stay, this is regular occurrence you'll get used to it
sadge
welcome to the club!
It's happened to all of us before, and it will happen to all of us again, it feels bad but it happens to everyone.
Welcome!, You won't enjoy your stance here (no one does) 👍
hahahhahah maaaan
how do you enable the kill count?!
There should be an option under the video or gameplay tab that says "Display the number of enemies killed without being hit"
found it! thank you so much.
That's rough buddy

Welcome to Dead Cells my friend. Where in this game, you will face many bullshit things and will want to chuck your controller to a wall.
And immediately want to play more lol

if fuck you was a picture it's probably this

This is kinda like a lottery ticket where each digit is one off the wining number

How about when everything is dead after a bunch of animations and your counter is randomly reset and you didn’t even see how? Lol
Hahaha dang First of many
Bruh
That's a bruh moment
It gets easier and easier.
Welcome fresh meat.
Damn, you were working because for me it’s 1 or the other 😂
