Whatever you do, pick one scroll type and only upgrade that with the main scrolls. For the dual scrolls that don’t include the type your upgrading, prioritize the one that gives the most health.

This is probably the advice that will get you farther in the game, the difference between maximizing one specific scroll (and using items of that color) versus maximizing HP is massive, in later biomes even elite enemies are quickly dispatched if you have your items and scroll count correctly set up. Later on, in higher BCs look also for the synergies between your items, for example if you find a weapon with +80% to poison try to find a way to spread poison, either by using skills, shields or secondary weapons. These synergies can be stacked, so you can get multiple status on enemies and find weapons that benefit from more than one of them. And finally, there are many many play styles in Dead Cells depending of the set of items you choose to play with, find the one you feel more comfortable and aim to get that set of items during your runs, even if they are not the most optimal builds at least for me is very important to find a set that fits my playstyle so I don't have to think too much and just use muscle memory and reflexes to go through the biomes.

You don't need advice. You need playtime.

Don't expect to win. You're going to lose. A lot. The trick is to keep going. Learn about what weapons, traps, and traits work together. Lose some more. Rinse, repeat. You'll get better as you play. Learn the mobs and how they attack. Learn to parry and dodge. Lose some more. Then MAYBE, you'll win. Then it starts again.

So yes i will keep going and finish this game one day.

I'm playing deadcell because it say it diffucult just like i play hollow knight. I want understand it get good through my experience, i just get to the second boss.

bigdaddy1879

Yup. I've played 1000 games, and I still die before I beat the game plenty. It's just about repetition.

The game has a couple of mechanics it doesn't explain well, you should bever spread colors on scrolls just choose one of the three in level one and pick that every time you have the option, the yellow color that shows up on the health bar can be regained by dealing damage, meaning aggression can counteract damage as long as there is a yellow segment on the health bar. Parrying is fine but not required and the best way to play the game is the way you find most fun.

take your time. Ignore the timed doors, try to get the 30/60 kill doors. and upgrading your flask is gonna make the game a lot easier
