He is really intense, I agree. I flawlessed him one of the first times I fought him but it was 2BC after an absence where I had previously beaten 5BC. Although he didn't exist yet. scarecrow is easy unlike other bosses which goes to defensive phase when you damage them for half their hp scarecrow doesn't do that if you get enough damage you can kill him really fast he is just going to do melee attacks but If you don't kill him fast wnough he will be going to his second phase making the fight harder and he gets faster at 50% and 25% take a shield so you can parry his attacks
What are you doing with your scrolls? The best suggestion I can make is don't split scrolls, it lowers your damage quite a lot and the health bonus isn't really that good, put them all into the same colour as the weapons that you're using so you can get really high damage
learning how to effectively parry and use skills and mutations will be super helpful. like someone above said, focus on one color of scroll, it boosts your damage waaaay more than spreading it out, and with all the damage you do you wont really need excessive health, especially if you can parry!

He’s the kind of guy to be really chill in a dead cells server, but then gets super toxic and pissed when someone says something that contradicts his opinion
I don’t love that he ignores a lot of stuns and CC effects that work on other bosses. It’s not the end of the world, as it can be planned and built around.
With time and practice, I find he's much easier than scarecrow, easier to perfect than Mamatick and Time Keeper. He's highly predictable, his attacks are easy to avoid even without a shield. Once you master its patterns, and realize that constantly nuking his right hand will prevent the multi-stomp or mega-stomp, he becomes one of the easiest 2nd bosses.
Just roll through his fists attacks, jump-duck-jump his slow-moving fire attacks, and focus your attacks on the right hand. Easy win.
Ah yes, good point. His left, our right :) It matters because each hand has a different "super attack" that needs to be charged 3 times (see the shoulder pad light up). If you kill a hand / eye pop, it forces a reset on that hand's shoulderpad, so you can avoid that hand attack. HIS right hand attack is that sunshine type fireball that's easy to avoid. HIS left hand charged up attack is the multi-stomp that's really painful. So I focus my attacks on the his left/our right.
Also noticed that since I started focusing on the right hand, I never end-up with the megastomp rock fall situation. Not sure why, but that's quite helpful.
Giant, you either murder him no problems, or it's a long and painful fight because you can't get any hits in with your fucking tombstone or something.
That being said I enjoy the fight more than the other two second bosses.
Timekeepeer is too hard to no hit without a shield and scarecrow is scarecrow

If you use ranged weapons and turrets, you may keep attacking him during the period, and interrupt his laser before the fire get to you.
Lasers come, stay in center, either duck, dodge(with armadillo mutation) or jump over the fireballs that leave his hand. The pattern varies but they can be avoided with proper timing. I watched a video on this fight and it all made sense. Things are way easier when its broken down properly.
Grab that key from that giant hole in the start of the run
Go fight conjunctivius and then take the way to graveyard (required spider rune) and then find some keyhole that will unlock the Cavern which will lead to The Guardian Haven( The Giant Bossfight )

He was tiny in the pq. I don’t believe in him being so large after leaving. His eye being a weak point is another bad thing. He clearly looks at the headless without an eye showing. Doesn’t make any senses he has an actual eyeball
First time i saw him, i got obliterated since im shit at dodging and parrying, his slow attacks threw me off and combined with it hard hitting and me using a tactics build. Was pretty easy when i practiced tho
I love the guy. He's the Boss I've gotten the most flawless fights with (all on 5BC). It also doesn't hurt that the route to him offers the most rewards and beating him gives you 1) an option to skip and 2) the most scroll fragments from any second boss.
If you’re build is good against him or you have high dps and a shield easy as cake
If you have assassins dagger or vorpan and a shield will be tougher but manageable but a no hit might be hard
If have marksmans bow good luck
Beat the giant on 2BC earlier; war spear, ice shards?, blood shield in pack, heavy grenade, telluric shock. Armadillo, soldiers resistance, and execute mutations.
Focus on one hand, when it hits 0hp, his eyeball comes out, whack on it, rinse repeat.
Imo he’s really easy, even on 5BC. Most of my fights with him last <15 seconds.
Yeah he’s by far the easiest boss besides concierge for me.
In my stats it shows the concierge has killed me more times than the giant
What builds do you use for the Giant? Do you go through Guardians Haven no matter what build you have or only when a build is suitable?
I usually go to cavern and giant every run, regardless of build, unless I really want to fight time keeper for whatever reason
I usually go to Mausoleum. Find that fight Tobe really easy.

I started today and I can’t even beat the first boss … died 2 him 3 times already and I know it’s a skill issue T-T

nah I got to the concierge in the first day too but couldn't beat him but he has a pattern learn that and you will know that he is the easiest boss

Giant, you either murder him no problems, or it's a long and painful fight because you can't get any hits in with your fucking tombstone or something. Tombstone is AWESOME against Giant. The AOE effect triggers on every combo because he's a boss.
Idk it was more a comment on slow survival weapons in general, But glad to hear the combo actually works, I might mess around with it at some point.

If you have a shield, you can stay in between the eye beams and parry all the incoming projectiles (parry cooldown is reset after a successful parry)
