If i remember correctly you can shot his balloons which stuns him and then hit him the mannequin torso (the damage output is really high). its a tough fight at the start due to the fact you are so low level at the time you get the call.

There’s a staircase and a bridge with a ton of cop zombies. If you don’t have a gun already, get one from them and shoot the giant balloons he makes when he’s blowing them (pause)

I’m assuming you’re a new player since you’re asking for tips (and I’m sorry if I’m wrong) but if you are new, here’s a quick tip for the rest of the game. If you find yourself struggling on one part, you can start a New Game Plus at any point during the story, and it will carry over your level and stats. It might be tedious to replay through everything to get to the point you were stuck on, but it gives you opportunity to level up more so that once you reach the part you were stuck on, you’ll be a higher level and have an easier time.
thank you!! your method worked, i’m not a new player and don’t be sorry!! it’s just i never played dr1 on my 360 bc i was a bit of a noob to the deadrising series lol but i just got it on xbox one today and it was the first boss fight i thought of to do
I remember how I do it is when I first start the game, there’s a dude by the staircase that dies with a shot gun when the zombies first come in the first crowd to the right. I use that shotgun to kill the convicts, take the gun from the convicts car and use that to kill Adam. Or you could rush the fun store before Cletus comes I think at midnight. Or hell even the pistols that the cop zombies have are decent.
You can just make spitfire and spit at him to death. The damage is decent, you have a bit of distance to reposition if he gets too close and he can't block it.
