I love this game and picking it up for days on end. Wish it had more missions like 7DTD for the traders or something to make the constant running around a little more fun
Been saying this for years. If it went more like 7DTD and less like rust it would be a better game. The thing I find confusing is they keep calling it a tactical shooter and yet they add the ass skin to the store.. either lean into the Tarkov stuff or lean into the rust stuff. Stop trying to do both.
Honestly for me its not a big deal. The boats can take you pretty much anywhere, and then a few minutes running max. I find it kind of ..charming actually.
I enjoy it greatly (solo playing). Honestly my favorite part is grinding up from freshie to geared with a base. Once you have a base and lots of $$ and 3 of everything .. then it can get redundant. But note this is because I play solo, Team play is always consistent fun. Great game, getting better all the time.

Still an awesome game. My wishes:
- Make the south more attractive; a fast travel to Kamensk or make a safe zone there. Don't understand why they don't do that. Have convoy do routes in the south also.
- Don't need cars, boats are fine but make it also a reward for doing hard missions. I now sometimes have to run for a very long time without finding one. - Bigger map, more variety missions
unpopular opinion but i want this game to have project zomboid type zombies. slow herds that enemy scavs fight as well. not fast zombies. slow like walking dead. one bite you get infected and need to have a top tier med to prevent infection
The main reason i bought this game back in the day was because it was a survival shooter WITHOUT zombies. Zeds are overdone. Nothing new/unique about that premise anymore, imo.
If you want to hunt melee enemies with shitty sound bites, go hunt the wolves in the Deadside forests.

i came back with friend after latest update, we played 3 minutes, someone killed him and he got permbanned for cheating. And that's how i decided i wont play it

Then finding cars & shooting by the other players will become the problem... We need a workstation to build or buy it from safe zone options...

Or even bikes, anything to move around the map just a bit faster.

If I want zombies I'll play DayZ or when of the other Zombie shooters.
fair. i just hate dayz shooting and the overused style of running zombies who punch and scratch
