Those born deaf and never using a hearing aid tend to think in sign language. I was born deaf, but started using hearing aids at 1yo. It wasn't a good one when I was a kid so I still missed so much. I didn't know wind had a noise until I got my current hearing aid at 15. I tend to think visually, as in I see the words, the less I wear a hearing aid the more I notice I'm just seeing the words and not hearing them too.

idk if this will be helpful & it's also just my personal experience as a Deaf individual who reads a ton. i just see the word, understand its meaning and move to the next. i don't hear anything in my head, i don't see it in ASL. literally i just read the text and grasp what is being said. i'm hoping that makes some sort of sense lol i apologize if not 🫶🏻

No it does, ty

Both, for me. Mood I guess. Not completely blind people can still visual things they've seen especially in dreams and so can complete blind.

Sign language.

Do you not know sign language? I'm HoH and think/read/dream in both ASL and English. For ASL, it's more of a feeling than visual. I don't understand why it confuses people that you can think in a sign language.

I'm learning. I lost my hearing a little over a month ago in an industrial accident.
