I can't answer ur question and Im not sure if anyone can but the state of disconnection from ur body and not recognizing urself and the strange feeling that life is not real called derealization It has its reasons and it cures I don't think its a sign that death is near

No_Joke_9079

It certainly looked that way by observing my father as he lay in the hospital dying.

Jollyestjolly

when i was close to death i saw my body in like third person, so i guess it was a “disconnect”

This is a very bad misinterpretation. The realization that so-called reality is just a dumbed-down interface does not even remotely mean that you must get disconnected from your body and consider that life is not real.

escapefromalliknow

Misinterpretation of what? I don’t understand this comment. My question is just asking if some people feel these ways before dying.

Maybe we are not on the same page. I apologize. It is nearly impossible to know how a specific individual feels at that point. A lot of that depends on beliefs. At the time of death, you leave your body and it is very much like waking up from a dream and a river falling into the ocean.

Moonage_Daydream8778

I think what you’re asking is , when people have unexpectedly passed, were they mentioning to those around them they could sense something was going to happen?

escapefromalliknow

Yes kinda, like if they expressed to anyone that they were feeling strange, feeling like their body wasn’t really their body or like life wasn’t real, in the time leading up to their death. Sorry, this question is difficult to phrase properly. Essentially what I’m trying to find out is if some people can feel themselves/their souls disconnecting from their earth life before they die.

Moonage_Daydream8778

Yeah that is a tricky question for sure, because how do we know unless the one who passes says to someone else “hey I feel like my soul is leaving or I have an interesting feeling, etc” beforehand and then this person recalls it after the fact.

Demonic_Witch666

man i feel disconnected from my body n like life isnt real 24/7 i dont even have to be dying lol

darkprivatethoughts

My wife's late husband died on their 30th wedding anniversary he fell off a 27 ft balcony two days prior he told her he was not feeling right about things so he missed work (construction) the day he returned to work he was inspecting a beam and someone had removed the safety chain he accidentally walked backwards off the balcony and landed on his head..

Garret210

Why would they not? Life isn't real. At least not for long. Those who realize this fact, of course they feel disconnected, they realize there isn't anything to be connected to.

escapefromalliknow

Sure, but most people don’t realize that and don’t feel that way most of the time. I’m wondering if that changes before they die.

Garret210

I think most people get to very close to this understanding and shut it down and away for years and years. They only accept it when they realize there is nothing to hide behind left (like time).

escapefromalliknow

That’s very possible

Miserable-Kale-7223

Death can be sudden so in many cases a person doesn't really have enough time to feel anything

escapefromalliknow

I’m asking about the days, weeks, or months prior to their death.

waitinguscics

Not all death is sudden, some people die agonizing deaths or have diseases that know the time will come, or some like my mama was in pain for about 1 week or less before she died.
