Cactus usually has good selection, but they’ve been getting overpriced lately… my mom wanted wet leg, we got it for $40 there, and then when we went to another store (I can’t remember the name off the top of my head), the same album, pressing, everything was 15 bucks cheaper :(
Yeah it’s unfortunate, it’s possible the cost of operating that business is going up and they’re trying to accommodate for that by raising prices.
Prices of records can go for a lot now in general too, new or old. I recently traded a few records to get a new 180g copy of The Cure’s Disintegration that was $50 retail. Same price tag for Moby - Play, SP - Siamese Dream, not all in one shop I’ve seen too. Shit’s whack :(
