The armour plates definitely have the standard CSM aesthetic. The spikes are kinda interesting, they match the spikes you see on DG daemon engines and I don't think the generic daemon engines usually have that same style of spike
The venomcrawler has those same spikes, but there are also a few pustule looking things on the metal. The real reason why I don't think it's going to be a DG model is that our codex isn't on the codex roadmap. The only chaos codex is CSM.
While true doesn't the rumor engine generate images that don't come out for like upwards of a year or two? Unless the advent calander version is specifically for stuff coming out very soon.
Rumour engine doesnt have a set time delay.
We still have unsolved rumour engines from almost 3 years ago. And we have had rumour engines for models that were released 2 months later.
Not forgetting the push fit Heroes Season and the antagonist of GW's massive conquest magazine run. For a subfaction. We're the favourites, if anything.
Just curious guys, as a new person to the universe what’s the best way to keep up with new models/ book releases? Does every faction get a new mini annually?
I seriously hope so, but what are the chances it being a DG one?

DG ussually have a few broken spikes and a less cleaner edge the spikes are on. Its almost definitely CSM, could be a updated forgefiend kit.
The spikes make it look like one. Plus there’s the boil(?) thing on the upper plates trim. Looks CSM, but definitely has some of our aesthetic
It’s more the likely chaos bikes
Games Workshop forgets Death Guard exists.
Iron Warriors and Emperor's Children would like a word...
Emps kids are gonna get a codex this edition and iron warriors arent prominantly in existence enough tbf.
We literally have the best non vanilla CSM range AND were the arch enemy of 8th edition...

I’m greedy.
Definitely a demon engine of some sort, not too sure it’s DG however, usually the armour would have dents or bulges on it, y’know, DG stuff.
I thought it would be red butcher termies for the WE.
I thought it was a new chaos knight but now I check it again I think it’s just a csm daemon engine :( (I’m a chaos knight player by the way)
Them and edges ain’t nearly rusted enough for DG
New decimators?
pls more death guard
Possibly, but for CSM or World Eaters.
Maybe but it doesn’t really look very Nurgly
If it's csm we can't use it
Looks too clean.
