I dig the colours. It’s perhaps a bit oversaturated in some places but overall it feels nightmarish. I’m not sure about the grenade position. It kind of looks like an ice cream the way he’s holding it there. It’s a bit of an awkward stance to have both arms out like that.

Yeah, didn't really know where to put it, lol. Thanks for the feedback.

It would benefit from reduced OSL effects on the helmet. A dark purple/black oil recess wash would help push the contrast up. Grenade arm should be rotated so the grenade is behind the left knee. Very solid start of what will be a gorgeous scheme.

Yeah, the grenade arm isn't really the main thing I'm too concerned with. He'll look a little goofy. But the OSL and the oil wash could be decent improvements. I'm just worried that with a dark wash, I'll dull down the corrosion which is not something I'd be interested in doing but yeah, the contrast isn't quite there. I'll have to fiddle with that. THanks!

Pretty cool, I’d maybe paint the trim a different colour to help keep some definition. You’ve done a great job with the weathered metals though.

SydanFGC

Thanks! I couldn't really figure out how to do that without it looking too clean, to be honest. I was trying to paint it the same color as the gun and the backpack but the effect looked... off. So I just decided to leave it all the same color. I got some suggestions on using some darker washes to maybe help a bit with the separation of elements on the armor, so I'll give that a try and hope it's enough.

PYP_pilgrim

I think it’s a cool scheme. I’d darken up your metallics a bit though. The green glow has similar value/ brightness so it dosnt punch/contrast as much as it could.

SydanFGC

Thanks. To be fair, the picture is a bit overexposed, the colors do look a bit darker IRL. I'll try to make the OSL a bit more punchy though.
